October 25, 201411 yr Remember a good weekend in Dublin and staying in Kildare, and going to the St Pats pre season game. No mither and a good laugh.
October 25, 201411 yr When BMI Baby started their flights to Cork it was cheaper to fly there for a weekend on the lash than go to Manchester & get a taxi home, happy days.
October 25, 201411 yr Can see this one ending in tears.......... btw did anyone see that mon in Scott's with 'Lennon 18' Celtic shirt on?
October 25, 201411 yr Author Supped in Belfast with a Bolton shirt on and not one gave a fuck, give the man a chance and fuck bigotry off.
October 25, 201411 yr Supped in Belfast with a Bolton shirt on and not one gave a fuck, give the man a chance and fuck bigotry off. Or how about both "sides" shut up about it.
October 25, 201411 yr Author Tbf NB I think that is what LEYTH_WHITE is saying in his own roundabout way. Ta,the folk over the water love our culture. - Edited October 25, 201411 yr by leigh white
October 25, 201411 yr Can see this one ending in tears.......... btw did anyone see that mon in Scott's with 'Lennon 18' Celtic shirt on? he was sat near us
October 25, 201411 yr Did he get any grief Cas? I bet he had loads of groz down his back when he got wom
October 25, 201411 yr nowt we could see but he did look around at one point while he was finding his seat as though somebody might have said something it couldve been as innocent as 'sit down you knob, its 315'
October 25, 201411 yr Well sounds like no news is good news as far as I am concerned, I thought he was daft to turn up dressed like that but shouldn't have got grief for showing support for our new manager.
October 25, 201411 yr Well sounds like no news is good news as far as I am concerned, I thought he was daft to turn up dressed like that but shouldn't have got grief for showing support for our new manager. how is it showing support? I can't remember anyone wearing a port vale or crystal palace top. We don't need either Glasgow team tops in the ground.
October 25, 201411 yr Author I saw the lad walking out of the Scotts and folk were shaking his hands, if young lads want to watch our team, fucking let them.
October 25, 201411 yr Could've been a Celtic supporter living in Bolton rather than a nobhead from Bolton...
October 25, 201411 yr I can't remember anyone moaning about Bolton fans wearing Greek shirts with Giannakopoulos on the back. Edited October 25, 201411 yr by DazBob
October 25, 201411 yr Well I've seen Greek Stelios tops in the ground. I even bought Jamaica and Denmark tops myself many years ago as a yoof...at the risk of sounding like Diddles. Thing is I don't think a Celtic top with Lennon on should be an issue, but I know it is for some. As I have said on another thread I heard a Bolton fan shouting NL is a f*****n b******d coming out of ESL after the game. I don't think there is any place for it in Bowtun to be honest and for the most part there isn't - never heard SJM called a f*****n b*****d for example. Edited October 25, 201411 yr by RoadRunnerFan
October 25, 201411 yr I still have a half gross of these available, £20 apiece if anyone's interested... Nice and warm in winter, cool in summer...
October 25, 201411 yr When did Celtic become a country? We don't have a connection with other club teams, nor should we. I'm sure from what Lennon has said, he can't be arsed with folk wanting to make one either.
October 25, 201411 yr There are plenty of lads come over from Ireland to watch us , usually away games and made up of lads who studied at Bolton college late 80 's who used to go to Burnden to watch a game and developed an allegiance that way. 12 went to Birmingham last week and 6 flew over today , not big numbers I'll grant you, but this has been a habit since mid 90's when they all finished college and just the ones I know of There are loads of fans from Bolton who would be of Irish decsent or Irish settled here , same as most ethnic groups that make up the town
October 25, 201411 yr Fair enough NB Lennon has said nowt that's for sure. Not having a pop at you for a second but I heard what I heard coming out of the ground (see above) and clearly that is nothing to do with you.I don't think there's a place for it and that is my last post on the matter.

I'm sure from what Lennon has said, he can't be arsed with folk wanting to make one either. Well said, goes for both sets of these folk with confusing allegiances to clubs not BWFC. We could've been facing down one of them just a few years ago, would it'd been a win/win at the council stadium in Manchester (sorry for opening old wounds to make this point)? I'm sure the Rangers fans would've been tipping and tripping and linking arms with us had we beat them there, that (imaginary) night. Leave all your passion and pride reserved for BWFC exclusively on matchday.

I'm sure from what Lennon has said, he can't be arsed with folk wanting to make one either. My point was maybe that lad was wearing that shirt as a show of support for Lennon, not for Celtic. Just as the Greek shirts were as a show of support for Stelios, not Greece.
