Hadn't he won a Group 1 three weeks earlier?

Yep and then was given "an easy time of it" according to Wayne Hawkes.

With the programme ahead, seems perfectly sensible?

He must eat like a fucking, err, horse between races!

You should be a detective

So what we saying? Is it gonna win?

I think I have been hinting that it might for some time now S. Hopefully, the more astute among you took the early overs for the Jubilee Stakes.

Suspect it might be evens favourite on the day if it blows them away in Honkers.

I don't see the fuss, to be honest.

Different when your money's down, obviously, but I reckon I'd be on Exosphere next time out.

By the way Enzo - there won't be a next time out. Exosphere has been retired from racing and I would imagine will spend the next few years fucking broodmares.

Cheers.

There was a next time, mind. Exosphere went off favourite for the TJ Smith but ran like a drain and pulled up lame. As I'm sure you know.

Maybe he was just gagging for it and couldn't wait another 12 months to get his end away.

Who knows mate. I followed him in his early career as he went through the grades and he was explosive.

I suppose now he can explode in different ways. Gonzo doesn't read this section or he'd be barring up at the very thought the sick bastard.

I had a bet on it yesterday and it was 5/1, today it is 4/1. I may well be laying it come the Jubilee Stakes

Now do you believe? Fucking hell - spine tingling stuff.

Not even thinking about the 4 digit return he just gave me (yet again).

Just a privilege to witness something so extraordinary.

I hope some of you made some money from that and will do so again from his trip to meet Her glorious Majesty.

Fair play and well done Bolty, not many win like that at ST. Looked like plenty in hand

Cheers Z  - hope you were on?

This horse makes a habit of winning like this. As Traf said last time, seems crazy to give a good horse so much to do but that is how he races best.

This is the reason he was ridden by Tommy Berry today, He seems to understand the horse whereas the other regular rider, Dwayne Dunn, always has him closer in running than today and, consequently, is the one who has been on him when he has failed to win!

I await with interest the riding engagement for Royal Ascot. If it is Berry, expect a carbon copy of today.

So, the lack of response suggests that no one had a bean on it in HK then?

Hopefully some of you took the 5's which was available for Ascot? It will be evens or worse on the day.

Tote only in HK Bolty, and no odds on Betfair so I didn't nothing for what ended up a 7/4 shot especially with doubts on the travel. Worth in good enough style to warrant strong consideration for Ascot mate. The second home yesterday was no mug

The horse isn't coming to Ascot.

The horse isn't coming to Ascot.

Still can't believe this. After every fucking win in Australia they have mentioned "going to meet The Queen".

The wankers - I hope this hasn't cost any of you anything?

Connections clearly running scared of Jack Dexter.

Have you got a back-up plan for re-investment, Bolty?

  • Author

Obviously Enzo, I will get to back it when it runs down here again.

TBH I hadn't invested on the Ascot race yet - not because of any great intuitive ability. Simply been too absorbed in other things and hadn't got round to it yet. I am still blown away by the fact he isn't coming though.

I will have another sizeable collect this week if Sevilla qualify for the Europa Cup final yet again. Not certainties but with the two away goals they certainly seem to have a foot in the final already. Been a money tree for me this season have Sevilla. The next time I am on the terraces at La Rosaleda, I won't chant 'Puto Sevilla' quite so loudly  :D
