Skip Hire

Featured Replies

Need to clear a load of rubble in the garden to make way for a play area for the little one, can anyone recommend a decent local skip hire company? Cheers ladies.

Horwich skip hire

J Dickinson's always professional.

Chadwick's. Bury skip hire.

Used them all.

Get prices, for cash, and compare them size for size. Skips are dear so shop around.

If you can get it off road onto your drive do so, cheaper.

We used Robs Rubbish Removals to clear the garage before we moved, worked out cheaper than having a skip on the drive with the added bonus he sorts it for you.

And he has the clubs badge on his van.

We know Rob well.  Unfortunately he is in the same boat as us in that he does it properly and therefore gets weighed on and off.

With rubble being heavy as fuck you are probably better off with a skip.  You're going to be looking at 200+ regardless of who you ring (they all charge the same, honor among skip blokes and all that)

Cheers will have a ring round, greenhouse is already sold and I have an old mangle that weighs a ton. Might just dump the rest on the local park and say the gypsies left it there, be moved free of charge then!

Yon mangle, leave it on the pavement and some gypos will have taken it in minutes.

I've got shit loads of clay/soil from my garden, I just drop a load off at the tip every time I'm passing. Last time a small skip cost £90 or something stupid.

Get on to Pikey O'Riley, he's sure to do it for £50

I've got a mini so it would take me approx 12 years to shift it all that way

Ah makes sense, tbf our garage was just full of general crap so the weight thing I can see would be a problem.

Ha, the amount of runs I've done to the tip in my Mini has been ridiculous.  I like to get rid of stuff quickly though, can't be doing with debris.

Was the wardrobe going to the tip or coming to the house?
