maaarsh
Any grounds hosting this lot will be praying for rain to avoid 3rd day refunds after watching them get shown up by 2 of the weakest counties.

Traf
Bairstow 103 not out. His last three half centuries before this game have all developed into scores of 150+
Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted May 20, 2016 Site Supporter Share Posted May 20, 2016 A question, if there is need to fill Taylor's spot and number three is not set in stone, is it not possible to play both Buttler and Bairstow? The former recently had a rough time in test cricket, but he's also shown some ability.

He may not have had it set in stone but it was still a place in the team that needed filling. Not interested in discussing Taylor's selection merits as it's irrelevant. But you knew this though, so what do you think think about playing Buttler and Bairstow?

famouswanderer
But you knew this though, so what do you think think about playing Buttler and Bairstow? This is what I would do. Obviously Buttler being committed to IPL at the moment may of affected the decision? Vince to 3, fuck compton off, Buttler at 7. Bairstow at 5, hes shown he is more than good enough to play as a pure batsman.

Can't help feeling that Ali would be better ahead of both Buttler and Stokes unless they needed to set a target or chase quickly . Free the big hitters to have a good dip later on. Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted June 22, 2016 Site Supporter Share Posted June 22, 2016 Recorded it. Saw the first two england wickets and thought bollocks to it. Might watch it later but seen the end now and that's probably enough.
