January 7, 20179 yr When not even 20, I set a record for playing across the board; on top of that, 5 years after ABBA I emulated them, but Ilkeston was my "Waterloo". Remind me - who the fuck am I??? Well it turns out I'm John McGovern. At 19 I became the (then) youngest player to play in all four divisions, I won a "Euro" 5 years after ABBA and my last football job was managing Ilkeston.

January 7, 20179 yr Author My birthplace is Exeter yet I find myself up North and make my first ever appearance in the Football League at Bolton Wanderers where I spent almost a very Happy decade before playing for a further two clubs in my professional career. Howard Kendall and George Graham were watching me at one game before I was stretchered off..... I'm suddenly found wearing a Toga at both of my last league clubs, both have beautiful cathedrals.......one city is a Roman fortified settlement, whilst one city was founded as a Castrum.... One of my "clients" Liam, is a workmate of miamiwhite......but who the bloody hell am I ?
January 7, 20179 yr Gotta be mark came. I remeber when he scored at Swindon in one of "those" league cup replays. In the next programme there was a picture of the goal with the title "Mark Came scoring". I think i did that evening too.

I'm a Wolf by birth, but in footballing terms and by true nature..."I was born on the Lever End"............before I had to work 'down the mill' then switched into a different collar and worked in "The Office".........before becoming a "hoe" much further down south...... After that, I was "hoovered up" in the inbreeding shires before ending my career at a ground closer to home where horses are indeed for courses...........a ground where many of you 80's duffers have probably.......in fact, most likely have indeed graced the turf..... January 9, 20179 yr Author Anyway, seeing you couldn't get my last one.....I'll give you easier ones... I made my debut for my hometown and spend six relatively happy years there before becoming a Wanderer and a bloody nomad.. After the Whites, I paraded my talents at a valley, before trodding on more turf, became a Baggie before joining the Cod Squad, then returned briefly to my home club.... Decided to move across the Boundary for a while then caught a ferry across the Mersey.... Came back over the Pennines to another moor before going down to the Garden Of England....then onto the third Wanderers, before meeting up with Little John and Robin Hood though I wasn't with them in the forest... I moved across to a bank with a canal running alongside it, before ending my league career in Herefordshire. In between all that Whicker like travelling, I scored a couple of goals for my country.... As all the opposition fans would sing.........."Who the fucking hell are you?"
