Exactly, but by going through all that, it made the rise back up & the time in the premier league that much sweeter. Without getting too misty eyed, i think the best thing about that time was the quality of the hardcore Wanderers' fans who were often pretty rough, often very funny & almost psychotically loyal to Bolton. Today's boo boys wouldn't have lasted 5 minutes.
