But so far I fail to see how safe standing would be any less safe. I think there is plenty of evidence to show that safe standing is safer than standing in all-seater stadia

I could see a section of standing behind a goal, for example, being a great way to generate more atmosphere and make it a more intimidating place for away teams. Would be very popular with the yoof I'd bet.

April 13, 20188 yr I would love to see safe standing areas but we will never see this at the Macron. I think the best we can hope for is what we have at the moment in the ESL scoreboard corner, possibly with the addition of areas with unreserved seating.
