  1. The first half was pretty turgid, but that second half was ace and poetic justice for all the Barnsley time wasting. The Barnsley keeper just went down on 85 mins after lashing yet another botched kick straight out for a throw in and stayed down for a good few minutes. Lovely to see that equaliser smashed past him 10 minutes later!!
  2. Looks like Sheffield Tap might be the best bet for a drink before the match, although Wednesday are at home tonight too. Cannot wait for this, absolutely massive game!
  3. This may be total Bullshit, and my brain may have completely fabricated this but in our first season at The Reebok was the 'walk on' music the music from the Terminator 2 soundtrack, not the Guns n roses song, the proper soundtrack part. I might have made this up, but I'm sure we had this
  4. I love the podcast anyway, but Mcateer is one of the best guests they have had, pure 90'S nostalgia. Maybe a bit of Bolton bias but the Peter Reid episode us great as well.
  5. He has loads of nice things to say about Bruce Rioch and Colin Todd and its a huge slice of 90's nostalgia. That mid 90's Wanderers side is still one of my favourites!
  6. Jason Mcateer is the guest on the 90's football podcast, "Quickly Kevin will he score". Comes accross really well and some great Bolton mid 90's anecdotes thrown in. Well worth a listen.
  7. Outfield player in goal, always a classic in 90's football
  8. Sell out home leg for Wednesday to look forward to as well! Darren Moore could be sacked despite a 96 point season. This league is mad!
  9. It's been a shambles and gutted for those who missed out, but if we win its all about the Final anyway and if we lose, you'll be glad you weren't there as losing in the play offs is so gut wrenchingly hideous.
  10. It's pathetic, football is about these occasions and atmospheres. Every club here could easily accommodate circa 4k away followings, with no detriment to anybody.
  11. Sunday is still big for us. We don't want Wednesday in the semis. They have only lost 6 times all season and bar a downturn for those 5 games after we pegged back a draw at Hillsborough, they would be home and dry. Win on Sunday, and I see us beating Barnsley.
  12. Free pass for Sam this. He won't be the fall guy if they go down. You can question every decision to get to this point but giving Sam a final shot seems a reasonable roll of the dice in these circumstances.
  13. 22 years since our last play off game, madness! A whole generation of fans are about to experience this roller coaster for the first time! Buckle up!
  14. David Wheater was there too walking up Wembley way chatting away to the fans. Brilliant to see Campo, he just gets it, seems like a top fella
  15. There are loads of expat Bolton fans up and down the country, myself and several mates included who might have moved away from the North West, but continue the support from afar. The relative successes of the late 90's 2000's will have added to this I'm sure.
