April 24, 20188 yr Oh and fly via Ireland to get through JFK more quickly Correct. Quicker to clear immigration in Dublin.
April 24, 20188 yr Is that quicker than going direct and going through customs? I don't recall it being that bad in NYC.

April 24, 20188 yr Got a pleasent surprise last year at JFK Got there and queue was huge, but as we'd been to Nashville 6 months earlier we could skip it So, best tip for getting through JFK immigration quickly is go some where else in the states a few months earlier
April 24, 20188 yr Aye, we skipped it and went in the quick queue as we had been recently (2 years previous) Think you just need to show the visa stamp in your passport if you have the same one
April 24, 20188 yr It's worthy: Westin hotel is great. Westway diner nearby for great breakfast. Open top but roots, Red and blue both brilliant. Hop on and off for 2 days, these include a river cruise and entrance to empire state. Ellie's diner next to Broadway. Waiting on staff are upcoming performers so do a few songs, fantastic. Central park Grand central station See a show, Jersey boys superb. Very cosmopolitan place. Enjoy!
April 24, 20188 yr Bloody love New York Times Square is the best, get to a show on Broadway like somebody already posted Jersey Boys is brilliant. I stayed in the Wellington on Times Square decent enough but only slept in the room was out from 8am until midnight. Nice little Irish bar at the end of Times Square near Central Park. Book the red bus tours good value hop on and off best way to see the sights. Some people queue for tickets at the booths on Times Square we just went and booked at the venue just as cheap. Enjoy.

April 25, 20188 yr I've just booked for 4 days in September Flights cost £321 (including luggage) with Virgin from Manchester to JFK 4 Star hotel The Manhatten at Times Square cost £781 + £128.30 city tax (thieving twathooks) total £909 for 4 people So total cost was £548 each, which I thought was quite reasonable Just had an e-mail through from Manhattan at Times Square claiming there is an offer of 20% off stays booked by 8th May for stays up to 30th September just in case it's worth you comparing your price.
