This Ere Royal Wedding

The father of the bride to be more precise. I cant help but think of John Goodman in King Ralph. No class these yanks.

Anyway, it will never last. Bitten off more than she can chew that lass.

  • I'm not defending it, as I don't really care, but they re expecting a spend, including, tourism, of £500m. So, commercially, we should be having one every week.

We watched it on our cruise ship only about 8 people left on board. Lovely drinking champagne , only thing that wasn’t right was the Eddie Murphy bloke’s evangelical speech, we were taking the piss out of him , the 2 Americans didn’t like it, fuk em.

I liked him but completely inappropriate for a royal wedding.

Thought it was fine, for a coming together of 2 cultures

I agree but he went off on a tangent and much too long. I did like him though, a breath of fresh air.

I was a bit confused with it being left hand drive. Was it hers brought over?

Apparently an electric one too? WTF?

I must admit to laughing and comparing to a preacher from the Blues Brothers.

Looks on some of the Royal faces amused me. No harm done and some light relief to what have often been very staid occasions.

Nah. It was a welcome change of tone that clearly amused many who were there. Whilst we're on it, would it hurt the queen to crack a smile every now and then? Miserable owd witch!

I’m sure Bolts loved an espicopalian preacher. The religious home of the liberal left in the States. Called for same sex marriage long before it was a popular cause.

Not 'loved' me old pal. 'Enjoyed'.

The looks on the Royal dials as he wound up to his zenith. Priceless.

Funny you should mention episcopalian. My old man was into his 60's Jags when I was a lad and I recall him repainting a bit of a rustbucket he'd picked up by mixing a number of leftover cellulose paints he had lying around. The result was a weird greyish mauve and was fucking awful.

When various of his acquaintances used to ask what the colour was, he always replied with a straight face 'Episcopalian puce'.
