Are there any patches of grass surrounding the pitch for the kids to be a bit more free...mine tend to move about in the seats too much and get a bit restless..

There's loads of room for kids to roam around , they can swap end at half time and you can please yourself if you stand or want sit down.

Love watching a game at Chorley FC, a pint or 2 on the terraces and a decent chippy, usually a good atmosphere as well.

Chester are bringing alot on Tuesday which always makes makes for a cracking atmosphere. The club are hoping for a big gate Saturday against Gloucester with the price on the gate massively reduced.

I have been asked to mention to Bolton Wanderers supporters about a pub in Chorley in which you maybe able to help one of your own if your visiting Saturday for the discounted match.

The WHITE BULL ( which is situated 5 minutes walk from Victory Park ) has a landlord who is life long Bolton Supporter and Sponser of your football club.  He also has a pub in the Bolton area .

Hope this helps you out

Where's best place to park near the ground tomorrow?

It all depends on what time your getting there . If your getting there before 2.30 then on the street at pilling lane.. go past Fredericks ice cream shop, past yarrow bridge pub then you'll get to some traffic lights just turn left there . Plenty of free parking.

Anytime after 2.30 just park on Morrisons for free

Cheers for that. Is that grass bank that runs down the side of the pitch being used? Are we allowed to sit on it?

Unfortunately The league have made chorley fence the banking off. Even thou hundreds of thousands have stood on that grass banking for nearly 100 years it's been deemed a health and safety risk, unbelievable.

You can stand or sit anywhere in the ground tho. Whatever best for yourself

5 Things to Look Out For if you’re going to Victory Park today.

1/ The Pitch. New grounds man started just after the pre season friendly with us when the grass was patchy and too long. He’s worked wonders in a short time and pitch looks fantastic now.

2/ Connor Hall. Likeable ex Wanderer is slimmer and fitter than ever, scoring for fun this season.

3/ A Pint. Have a pint in the sunshine whilst watching the match.

4/ Ustabasi. Chorley player who has pushed further forward this season and getting into the box more, quick and skilful, enjoy his performance, will probably score.

5/ Ice Cream. Celebrate a home win with a cheeky ice cream at Fredericks on the A6 after the game. Believe me, it’s worth queing for.

ENJOY YOUR DAY 😁

Keep it down about Ustabasi haha, loads of league clubs looking at him . Former player in Turkey and Greece. He's been unbelievable this season

Went yesterday and my first ever visit to Chorley FC. Really enjoyed it £10 to get in,programme £3 and decent meat and potato pie for £3. Stood behind the goal and chatted to a Chorley fan who told me all there was to know about the club, players and the budgets/teams in Conference North. He said he saw Santos play for Barnet there and was unplayable. He said he also saw Evatt’s Barrow there. Said they were part time whilst Gloucester City were full time. Reckoned they had budget of 250k when they were in the Conference. Said that cup run had helped them big time financially. That Billy Whitehouse looked a player and good to see Connor Hall score. All in all great to support your local non league team and be looking out for there results over the season.

Ha ha to be fair he was a top fella. Even told be about Paul Mariner who played for them and had a stellar career.

Best  bit of scouting ever bringing him to the SW under all the local league clubs noses.

Shame couldn't hold onto him long enough to drag us into top-flight
