First programme 1952 Arsenal away collection ends mainly in the 80's

Do you have Northampton Town at home, think November 87?

Cobblers if not

Would also be interested in home games v Palace (I think 04, we won 1-0)

And Stoke 2011 (5-0)

These were my kids first games- they are now 21 and 12 respectively.

I don't talk about the middle child 🙄

Do you like buying them?

Just been going through the Loft stuff, found a box of about 200-300 BWFC programmes home and away from mid 80s onwards.

Are any of them worth anything ?

Id give them to charity but nobody round here would be interested .

If anyone wants them they can have them as long as Im not sat on some obscure game that for some reason is worth £50.

Not worth a great deal sadly , if you do Facebook there are a few good pages dealing in programmes , you could probably flog them as a job lot

I stuck mine on ebay . A lad came and picked the lot up for £20 . Same sort of era as yours . I only kept the cup final/play off finals  and special anniversary stuff .

I got rid of all mine years ago to George. Remember George?

Any interest in my 1000 BWFC programmes peeps?

Didn't he say that he visited brasses in Manchester city centre on his lunch break

Someone who he worked with was also a Bolton fan saw all his posts, put two and two together and worked out who he was

Then he wanted all his posts deleted

Best poster that's ever been on here👏

The very same, although neither was demonstrated when I met him, and I didn't shake his hand.

Aye Brass George.

Money must have changed hands, he was no George Clooney as I recall.

I remembered this last night. I rescued this from a car boot sale in Chorleywood years ago. Including rusty staple.IMG_6236.thumb.jpeg.dbb1c617750dbb1734f86715a285e0e2.jpeg

Do people still buy/collect programmes, or is it one of those things that has just died a death. I wouldn't even know how much a matchday programme is these days, or how many they sell.

I had a load in my loft, and when I moved, I tried to get rid of them, nobody was interested, so I just ended up chucking them in the recycling.

I've even just looked on eBay for a 1958 FA Cup Final programme, and they're going for anywhere between £10 and £25, I'm sure they used to sell for a lot more than that

When I got rid of mine there was the late Ruth still buying and selling them so the market was there, but I'm not sure there is now. I had a look at one in the pub that someone had left on time. It was over £3 I remember, but it was thick paper gloss paper and apart from adverts for sponsors (we've enough of them to fill a programme) and big photos there didn't seem much in it.

I used to buy them around 94 and the centre page was a player 'poster'. Went to uni and quite a few of them made it onto my wall

Shagging a woman in a single bed whilst Jamie Pollock was looking on isn't the most endearing of memories from that time

They're £3.50 now. I always get one out of habit, but I rarely read it. My lad likes looking at the opposition squad list in case anyone's got a funny name. They just end up in a big pile and I transfer them to a box in the attic at the end of the season. Pointless waste of money really, but another matchday ritual I can't let go.

As a match day ritual it’s quite cheap then when you compare it to beer and food and stuff.
