Correction - he HAS had his career prospects ruined.
This is the main thing that winds me up about the #metoo movement; it creates the only situation where the normal presumption of innocence is not followed.
Is it possible this guy sexually assaulted this woman? Of course, but not only is her story not corroborated, it's been actively refuted by witnesses. In any court of law this would have been over and done with, but it's VERY clear that the Democratic members of the Senate are delaying as much as they can with the hopes of getting more representation into the Senate during the November mid-term elections.
It's the most blatant case of politically-tuned career sabotage that I've ever seen in my life, and it really drives me mental that nobody sees it. I can only put it down to a lack of intelligence among the general American public.
If you believe the accusers that the Democrats have presented, you'd have to believe that a 15-year old boy was running drug and alcohol-fueled gang rape parties, and not only that but ones that one of the accusers CONTINUED to attend after being one of the main attractions (so to speak).
It's utter nonsense.
