Lets hope he is! If not and he goes then I'm sorry to say that LSL will have to work a miracle to sign a worthy replacement.
-
I hope not!! However it might explain why he was missing from the team sheet tonight, all though lets not jump the gun

We got dic'kd 3-0. Started off with a mediocre team and finished off with a team full of reserves.

We were shite, Lyon looked far the better team. Did they field the same side against Reading? -
He aint a world beater but I think he's not a bad signing for around ?2 mil

If (and thats a big IF), this was true and this trasfer came about do you think we would be able to replace him intime for the new season? If so who with?

I know its only paper talk but still CHASE ON AS NOLAN MAKES A BOLT FOR IT HOTLINE SPECIAL BARCLAYS PREMIERSHIP EXCLUSIVE By Steve Bates BOLTON are prepared to sell midfielder Kevin Nolan in a shock move which has alerted Everton, West Ham, Manchester City and Premier League new boys Sunderland. Hotline understands the Liverpool-born star, valued around ?4.5million, may be allowed to leave the Reebok this summer, with new boss Sammy Lee looking to re-shape Bolton's midfield and stamp his authority on the club. Nolan, 25 later this month, has two seasons left on his contract. He was an integral part of Bolton's success under former boss Sam Allardyce, offering a scoring threat from midfield and a consistent level of performance. The news that Nolan is up for grabs has triggered interest from a chunk of the Premiership outside the top four - with Everton sure to be leading the way. After losing out on Joey Barton, who moved from Manchester City to Newcastle last week, Goodison boss David Moyes is keen to make a bid. Moyes is eager to sign a goal-scoring midfielder - and wants to boost the size of his squad size with his team back in the Uefa Cup next season. http://www.people.co.uk/sport/football/tm_...-name_page.html

Gavin Mccann- Has Signed 3year Deal
White79 replied to stopeswhite's topic in Terrace Talk - 'Classics'
Good Signing IMO! Great tackler, gets stuck in and can pass the ball well. A lad at work is a big Villa fan and he's not happy. Especially replacing Mccann with Reo Coker. -
I disagree, do you remember our man from Mexico 'Borgetti' he's there top goal scorer but couldnt hack it in the prem!
-
If its true Forde has quit the club then it could be the biggest blow of them all especially if he's as integral as we are led to believe him out to be. Anyone know much about this Frank McParland (apart from he's Liverpools chief scout)?
-
It says here that Reading's chairman has told Coppell that he has ?200 million to strengthen the squad. Do you reckon he's full of it or what? http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx?hlid=4...tball_home&

If I was putting money on it I'd say 3-0 to Chelsea. However we live in hope!

Theres no smoke without fire dunster. Im with Jay on this one

I feel this is a very sad day for our club. If he is going to Man City then he's a red ginger and its embarassing! It brings it home how small a club we really are.
-
Fu k it! A bad day at the office, at least we aint gonna get relegated this season.

Can some one pm me the link?

Ahh well, time to move on. Now the Dunn deal has closed who will be the next player we will nearly sign? Will it be this right back from Rennes? Will Celtic just pip us to him?
-
Who knows how much truth is in it? Probably very little however Lyon have got major problems with injuries up front so there will always be speculation especially as Anelkas French and having problems scoring for us. If he gets to Xmas on a duck I think the club may consider letting him go but probably on loan (as I dont think Lyon will pay anywhere near what we would want for him). I can't see us signing Viduka (well I at least hope not), Sam likes his players to be hardworking and wants at least one pacey forward. Viduka has neither of these attributes.
-
Exactly! We maybe good for a European spot but with only 9 games gone I wouldn't even assume that yet! To be honest I'm gutted Sam didn't put out a stronger side, you never know how a loss against such a poor team might effect our squads moral! Just look at what happened to Brum earlier this season after going down to Leeds!

It states on the official webiste that: The pair have been signed for an undisclosed fee and put pen to paper on permanent contracts with the Club this afternoon. All other aspects of the transfers will remain confidential and undisclosed. Definatley a shady deal of sorts but thats moden football for you!
