I've not been on W/Ways for a very long time but had to come on to say how shocked and taken a back I was to hear the news earlier today about Gary Speed. Hours later I still find it hard to take in. Even though I didn't know him on a personal level it feels like I've lost a mate. Sounds strange that I know because Im not an emotional type of bloke, but it knocked me for six when I heard. Im 42 also and have a couple of kids and to think what his family are going through right now, it will be unimaginable. My heart goes out to them all, especially his kids. RIP.

Mini bus sets off 4.45am, first can, 4.46am, you may ask why wait a minute, well, l do need to get comfy. First piss 5.06am...into the can Ive just emptied. First butty, 5.10am. Called me old fashioned but getting pissed is part of the day and so is forgetting most of the game. Ive covered that side anyhow by setting my didgy box to record the match. So I can always watch it again Monday night.

We're setting off 5am in our mini bus, no f@cking around ere. Weatherspoons open early, even Sundays AND serve ale, some serve from 9am some 10am on Sunday. We're stopping at one in Uxbridge around 9. JJ Moons say they serve ale from 10, the one near Wembley. The Greyhound is our pub, the main road on our side of groud A479, where you would turn right, coming down the road onto Dagmar Ave where the Green Man is, carry on down about 350m, do a left at the fork and the Greyhound is there. Its a decent size pub with a big standing area at the front. I reckon all the pub and front will hold 1000 plus.

When did you buy yours Alf? I know a local postie has been nicked for theft, having over 40 tickets in his possession, but many more sold on, so not looking good for some of us.

Whats the crack ere, we paid for 13 tickets at around 11.00am on the Thursday, loads received their tickets but we aint. Are we in the minority or majority? I know official site says tickets to be sent 7th April onwards, but why have some OR most got their tickets?

Just rang em, after - "choose 1, 2 ....bla bla" got through, no refunds on an Advanced ticket. Happy I would love to up the price of the bus, IF i had organised it, i didn't...ahhh.. time yet for takers.

Didn't think I could get my money back on Advanced tickets, but will give that a go. Ta.

**6 CHEAP TRAIN TICKETS AVAILABLE FOR ?5.00 EACH** Due to a change in our travel plans I have 6 single Adult train tickets available for just ?5.00 each plus what I paid for postage (just a couple of ?), ALL reserved seats together, 4 of them being a table seat, basically Im selling the 6 tickets at less than half the cost price (Virgin Trains), Im just looking for a quick sale so I can at least get 'some' money back. So 6 tickets all for just ?30.00. Dept Manc Pic 15:35 Sat 16th April, arriving Euston just over 2 hours later 17:42, no changes and plenty time for an evening in London. The times of the train mean you will avoid ALL Utd and City fans because they will already be there. I already have all the printed tickets with the seat reservation tickets in my possession as I bought them sometime ago. There are no train tickets left this cheap for these times on any train website. Obviously you will have to arrange the return single tickets yourself, or book on a coach so you can return on it, either way it will work out very cheap as an 'over all return'. Why have a got 6 tickets you may ask?? Basically we had already booked a 16 seater mini bus at ?35 each return, I booked the train tickets when rumours went round it could be an early lunch time KO if it was on Sunday, in case any of the lads wanted to go the night before as early KO no good if you want a good rinse. So places on the bus back already guaranteed if decided on going day before (still would have been a cheap return and we had a choice). Any how its a late KO in the end and everyone now is happy to go on the mini bus on the day, so Im left with these 6 tickets! PM me if you are interested. I will get back to you as soon as.
