The torch is a firm favourite of mine. :drinks:

Is the torch the one where the tranmere fans came past on the coach and bolton 'shared' their empty bottles with them?

Depends which way you come in, we will be arriving at Wembley Central and there is a weatherspoons over the road which should do for some reasonably priced beers!

Pah, you kids !

You will be assigned an 'Area', depending on what side of the ground you get. Not once will you "Win" a pub.

Bless, its very different this modern Wemberleeey !

the green man is a good one as massive beer garden and last time i was there two years ago they had a big barbie on the go

Green man is superb, but all depands if your assigned it, its not first come / first served these days !

All pubs will be assigned, and have sign's on the door.

Silverspoons as also decent, but again, all depends of what end you get.

Went to the FA Trophy last season and "The Torch" was for Stevenage fans only, so i just put on a southern accent and got pass the doormen, simples.

When watching Owen Coyles last Wembley visit we had a couple in the green man but then went to the offy accross the road and enjoyed the sun on the steps of Wembley Arena!

(which later booted off in the fountains)

so who is in the know about what pubs we have been alocated. i belive the green man is one of the west side of the stadiums pubs normaly but i could be very wrong!

We have been allocated the west side, so I'd assume we would have The Green Man.

the man in the moon, stanmore.then tube into wembley.done it liverpool, reading, villa, watford, england v holland.

We have traditionally 'adopted' The Torch whilst southern based clubs have more fans in The Green Man.

Having sampled both, The Green Man is way better if it's a nice day, that beer garden is huuuuuuuuuuuuuge.

Being on the West We will have the oppotunity to enjoy the large area infront of Wembley Arena for those who want carry outs and a two minute walk to your entrance

It looks like The Green man will be rammed with our lot........i've been in worse places :yahoo:

I'm meeting some stokies in edgeware :good:

I would doubt that, as the Green man is right behind our (west) end.

It doesn't matter, it depends on which way you walk down Dagmar Road. Also, you would expect all the pubs on the road leading to Wembley Central, JJ Moons etc. to be made available for all those allocated the West side of the ground but they're not, they split them between the two opposing teams.

Sounds like a recipe for disaster.....

1,Mix both sets of fans in alternate pubs around the ground

2, Just add alcohol

=@

According to Stoke's forum The Oatcake, they've been given the Green Man as their designated pub.

I spoke to them at the Green Man on Friday, and great news, they are making it Stokies only for the semi. One of the guys who works there is a Stokie so it's his party?

Holds 3000, yes 3000 and 4 bars!!

Surely the Police decide and not some employee.

just start saying "could of" instead of "could have" and they'll think you're a Stokie no problem...

Stuff an oatcake in yer mouth whilst singing Delilah and you'll walk in anywhere they're assigned
