Just a thought, but: McLaren comes in and we start to win but how much of it is down to 'new manager syndrome' and us playing a succession of lacklustre, or downright poor, teams. Today we played a team who showed a hint of backbone in defense, weren't shy in coming forward (although the end product was in the cow's arse/banjo range, largely) and we were struggling to find an answer. I think McLaren got found out today. I just hope he gets it sorted out before we play somebody good. And before anybody starts about off days and first time we didn't win under him and we still haven't conceded let alone lost, yada yada - I know all that. PS I'd also put watching Wanderers a million miles in front of watching England.
