I'm not convinced losing some of his power is a big issue for AJ. He just seemed really uncomfortable when confronted with a fighter who is happy getting in close and trading punches. Ruiz just kept coming at him and AJ had no answer. I'm shit sure he's had specific sparring partners to improve his close quarter skills. For me he just needs to use his jab effectively and take the fight into the later rounds and this should be a pretty routine win. But if he is looking for the big punches and trading with Ruiz i wouldn't be surprised to see him on his arse again.

Can't see us giving anyone a deal beyond the end of the season, so in theory they will all be playing for a new deal which might help.
