tricky one but i would say yes. defenders hate playing against him thus giving two centre halfs a rough ride for the 90. this on it's own gives the midfield, or it should do, the oppotunity to do their biz - but there lies the problem.
excellent first half bt the whites, disappointed we didn't move on and put spurs away. elmander is far to wastfull and needs to be put out to pasture. and don't go giving me that old line that his work rate and effort is top notch because that is wearing very thin.
behave ! scoring one against a championship side isn't quite bagging a hat-rick against a premier team. he's got a lot to do to get me on his side because he's wasted to much time being below average.
would love to be proved wrong but casting as far back as sunderland and boro goes to show he's had enough chances. he seems to be a confidance player who is playing with none when put in front of goal. take a chance man and leather the thing, it may go in. would love to eat humble pie but can't see him changing.
and that comes from someone who would glady have youri djorkaeff back in the team.
it's a question that not only me would like to se an answer too. if you can't contribute to a thread i suggest you keep you oscar wilde type putdowns to yourself.
why don't we just ask to move the tie to elland rd - bloody hell man grow some balls. i'm not moving and if any yorkshire types sit in front of me then they'll be getting some.
can someone explain to me why some on here still think elmander is going to come good. i would prefer a reply from one of his fan club.
he's not done anything and i fully expect him to carry on that way.
is it an all dayer ? not getting wankered in burnley but the fancy dress fing ? a nice clash of cultures if the football lot hit town at the same time as danger mouse and del boy.
what people are missing here is that cowell is laughing all the way to the bank. them that where going to buy that xfactor rubbish were always going to buy it, they weren't going to be persuaded to get that other rubbish. what that other song has done has made it in to a race and them that weren't going to buy either have gone out and bought in to something that they wouldn't have necessarily got involved in. wouldn't be suprised if cowell orchestrated the entire stunt.
with there being no match today i went to asda, for old times sake it was the burnden branch, and bang on 3pm i bought some parsnips - it was very entertaining and fun to do.
