The Ultimate Showdown
burndenwanderer replied to Northender's topic in Behind The Stands - 'Classics'
Cant be arsed watching that. Music got annoying after 10 seconds anyway. [-X -
if you have digital press the red button on bbc 1. They were on there yesterday. In a-z order so hope you catch it near the end. Then again, they may have now gone!

is anyone else not arsed if Jussi goes?
burndenwanderer replied to Bobcat's topic in Terrace Talk - 'Classics'
Exactly, we will all still watch Bolton till we die. Sad to see Jussi go but thats just football. -
Your Best 30 Seconds watching Bolton?
burndenwanderer replied to Garrp's topic in Terrace Talk - 'Classics'
What a great friday night that was -
If you are still in Sydney this Friday go and watch http://www.sydneyfc.com/default.aspx?s=new...1655&pageid=479 It's 2nd V 3rd in the A-League!
-
Dont think Sam would leave us for them, maybe if we hadnt been in Europe and doing crap in the league, he might have considered it. And I wouldnt say they were the 2nd biggest club in the country
-
He talks a lot of crap. He has never played football in his life! How he can cover the Premier League is amazing!
-
Did anyone see the stampings that Sam is refereing to? I saw some players having words with each other, and Diouf had to be held back by Gardener at Half Time from Carragher but didnt see anyone stamp on Nolan and Diouf http://home.skysports.com/list.asp?hlid=34...nel=premiership

Speed is not a right back. Not confident when Hunt is there but Joey is doing a good job. Ok he gave away a penalty and looked a bit lost after that but he hasnt played really bad so far this season. It would be nice to have some decent competition in the left and right back roles.

2-0 to the whites Diouf and O'Brien
-
Wouldnt every player say the same if they were in Peds position. Injured and at risk of not getting a game when he returns, with the team playing well (except at Wigan). I agree, one of the few who does try his hardest when he plays, sorry to see him leave if he does go
-
We can also play Spot the Ball. Good Photo!
-
He's not been given a chance but we probably dont play the right formation for him to score 15/20 goals a season. I think he is there to give Davies a rest but he is not the same player as Davies.
-
Now he would be a nice replacement. Huth for 6 months on loan is good cover/competition for Tel Ben and Bruno. There are not many decent centre backs willing to move for 6 months but I am sure he would love a chance of 1st team football instead of Chelsea reserves :D/ Jaidi is good in the air but thats about it. This may be time to cash in on him.

Good un!

Good job they know what its like to play in Europe, Cup and league. It's not like we are putting a load of kids out. The chances are it will be Borgetti, Hunt, Campo (If not suspended??), Vaz Te, Walker. All players very capable of playing in our first team. Anyone know whats happended to Fabrice Fernandes??
-
If UEFA can ban him for it after seeing it on TV, and it wasnt in the refs report, why can the Premier League not do the same? 2 Games for each bad tackle he has done, he wouldnt be playing again until easter!
-
Are we bad mouthing Jimmy or Jay Jay here? Or is it now a free for all? Jay Jay turned this club around for the good but if he wants to go I think we have seen the best of him. :D/

is southampton bigger club then us
burndenwanderer replied to pardon's topic in Terrace Talk - 'Classics'
When Southampton are competing in 4 competitions and are sitting 5th in the Prem, then they may just be a bigger club than us. At the moment, they are 12th in The Championship. The league doesn't lie -
I'd have him even if its just for the couple of games our 1st choice players go to the African Nations, then tell him he has to battle for his place. :D/

and is shite!
