  1. Yeh no issue at all. We fuck up, there’ll be bigger embarrassments and recriminations to face than some ribbing over booking coaches. Fair play for being organised and finding ways to maximise our attendance, A week is a short turnover to get it sorted. Its not cocky, it’s practical. Forward/positive thinking from all involved 👏
  2. Only way that happens is if we lose to Luton (The fearful/mighty Luton 😂) Seems like you’re over(under)-thinking it 😉
  3. Very good 😂 Yes, all topics up for debate. I’m guilty as charged when it comes to criticising in-game hysterics and post game meltdowns - to be often shot down that folk are just moaning and calling it as they see it, like they would in a pub. There are certain topics like attendances, formations, tactics that are marmite on here (I don’t mind any of those BTW) Seems we’ve found another with end of season play-off permutations 😊 Make a claim that I’d rather not face Luton (even though I think we’ll beat them) with some reasoned debate and possibilities, to see posts about being fearful, obsessed and too much over-thinking going on 😂 All good pub discussions in my view.
  4. Absolutely. If they beat us they’ll be 2nd favourites with the bookies I reckon, and in a lot of peoples eyes (you only had to listen to the reaction to “our Jack” on Talk Sport this morning) their pick to win the play-offs. Its not being obsessed or fearful of them, just an acknowledgment that the the most in-form team, with high expectations and recent top league experience are a side who will/should be more dangerous than Bradford, Stockport and Stevenage. But it’s football, Bolton Wanderers and a subjective debate so I see all perspectives from, nobody will touch us, to avoid out-of-form and injury ravaged Stockport at all costs because they have a hoodoo sign over us. The reality, and probably what will make this Saturday and the next month exciting, is that anyone of us could beat/lose to each other. But it is our turn, I’m fearful of no one. Our attacking threat is better than anyones. Bring it on!
  5. I think “good” is very much in the context of form. Lets be honest, other than Lincoln and Cardiff, form hasn’t been something that any other side in L1 has sustained - Luton just happen to be the team that’s showing it at the moment. Wary I would say, not obsessed. Would rather have teams there without that kind of form. Anyway, they didn’t look great shakes back in November and they’ve not come up against anybody like ACD and Kenny recently, so fuck em 😂
  6. A draw might get them in if Stevenage lose! Let’s just get em beat and out If it! 😂
  7. No you’re right. After that result tonight, even losing would more than likely mean we finish 3/4th! (I can’t see both Bradford and Stockport winning away from home!) Not losing Saturday is more important for knocking Luton out.
  8. Surely nobody is favouring Luton or Plymouth in the play-offs to Stockport?! Luton’s 5 and 10 game form is fantastic. We need to put them to bed Saturday. The form, fitness, player availability of a confident and firing Luton is surely a more concerning prospect than a bereft and and out-of-form Stockport, despite the fact they beat us twice nearly a year ago and knocked us out of the FA Cup 5 years ago.
  9. Yes, we get two more chances after losing 😊
  10. Good call with this outlook. A play-off quarter final knocking out Luton, who if they win would be potentially the most dangerous opponents and biggest threat to our championship ambitions.
  11. I’ve been tooing and froing on this one, but I think I’ve come down on the side of choosing the best side through to Wembley. I just think the reward for winning (securing 3rd/4th, momentum, confidence and continuing to build partnerships and understanding for our best 11) negates the freakish misfortune of sustaining injuries.
  12. Well done - great effort 👏
  13. The reality is we could face any one of the other 5 teams, by finishing 3/4/5th But good fun nevertheless having a guessing game. I’m hoping it’s Bolton, Stockport, Bradford and Stevenage in that order. Stockport or Bradford at Wembley But as @krimzon says all those we lost against above we could/should have beat! The thing that makes this lineup appealing, but consequently could also be our undoing, is that those other 3 sides are all over-achieving, and winning a play-off final and going up to the championship is beyond their expectations. Stockport are the out-lier here, having over achieved last year. But still it would be a massive bonus for them. For us, we lose we’ve under-achieved. Failure is despondency. It’s been our expectation now for at least 3 seasons. It could go either way for us, but I actually think that makes us favourites and dangerous opponents. Probably why I’m a bit more wary of an in-form Plymouth or Luton. But fuck it..we’ll do it this year. These late goals, late drama, never say die attitude, big crowds, exciting players are all finally going to make a difference.

That sounds better to me 👍

Heard a rumour yesterday (which I hope is wrong, but was told it was from a reliable source) that Dalby is out for the season.
  16. Very good read on here. Nothing I really disagree with. Brilliant away day. (Apart from the trains & argy bargy outside the Bradford Arms) Great to be at another class L1 ground and atmosphere. Very respectful remembrance - well done BCFC and BWFC 👏 Tough choice between Cissoko, Kenny and Rodrigues for MOM - just Rodrigues for me, purely for his defensive work. You can’t break him and Sheehan up. Bradford do not want to meet us again in the play-offs. One guy I spoke to said he’d be happy getting to Wembley and losing! They aren’t ready for the championship, they’ve overachieved and it would be a great experience for them! Im really hoping it’s us, Bradford, Stockport and Stevenage. … fuck that it doesn’t matter 🎵 “We’re on our way, we’re on our way, to the championship, we’re on our way 🎵
  17. If there’s any spare tickets going for this, please can you let me know. Thanks
  18. Nice for us to be honouring the memory of the 56 supporters who lost their lives. Like we have done on previous occasions I hope we play our part in a special remembrance.
  19. The next 7 could be Bradford Luton Bradford Bradford Luton Bradford Bradford (1st round League Cup) 😂
  20. Great minds 😉
  21. Or Bradford Luton Luton Luton Bradford 😂
  22. Oh goody 😩
  23. Could be our back 3 - now I see why folk have been crying out for a formation change 🤣
  24. 😂 I’ve seen and thought this! 3rd time in a few weeks I’ve laughed out loud with a bit of player bashing (something I’m not really into!) Hope nobody has just looked in my direction - I’d be looking like a lunatic. I’ve just tried to mimic his little panic gesture where he seems to sprint with fear in his eyes, blowing, with and his elbows slightly outstretched. 🤣
  25. I’d like to see Stockport sneaking in by not winning another game, finishing 6th so we can see them off in the semi after us finishing 3rd.
