i could see dioufy from where i was sitting, was there for the full game, wearing a bright yellow coat and a white bandana. only dioufy has got a fashion sense like that

i'd say the two best left backs based on form this season have been gardner and matt taylor at pompey, because of his goals. but gardner definately the best, even the best in the premiership. but when his ability in going forward was there, he was brilliant, playing in defence for 3 years has certainly taken his attacking abilities away from him. my example of him being at his attacking best, the 2001 play-offs, semi-final run and goal vs wba and then the 3rd goal at cardiff. we need somebody who can go on these runs again

as good as gardner has been (player of the season for me too) i would still rather see him in midfield, his ability to run at defenders is great, but as tricky says, his shooting has got worse and we do need somebody with that end product
