In Big Ron's case, he made a comment that was racist. However, I don't consider him to be a racist. These two facts can exist side by side. His use of the word "nigger" merely shows his age, he is from a generation who see no harm in the word, but that doesn't necessarily make them inherent racists. After all, it was Ron who started the black players off in this country and he has done sterling work over the last 20 years to rid this country of racism. He made a stupid throw-away comment, that's all.
