3 A bit of a dissapointment but theirs 37 more games, ok it is good to get off to a good start but some things can't be helped. Vaz te wasn't to bad but he seems to bottle it when it comes to the important stuff. Cid was awful in the 1st half. Samuel's defending was alright but at times he couldn't pass or cross. McCann got stuck in in the 2nd half, but to say that a midfield of McCann, Speed and Nolan must be the slowest in the league can't be true coz at times when we broke newcastle couldn't keep up e.g our goal and the barcodes have some fast players. We needed to have a better sub bench yesterday and also to start diouf, one of first names on team sheet imo and also we need to get the clearence for Wilhelmsson because i think that he could inject the pace and quality we need for our system and style. I think that the stick that Nolan gets is undeserved because he did quite well along with faye, anelka and faye looked to be the most consisstent throughout the game and not consistantly crap, he did a fantastic through ball for the goal but that came when we broke out and he was in the centre of the park which imo should be his position as when he gets a sweet shot on the ball it could take a man down to their knees. We should be safe this year to say we're goin down is rubbish we still have the quality to beat most teams in the league so should do alright, i recon we'll finish between 6-10 in table.

diouf will be a big loss against espanyol he looked like one of our best players holdin the ball well and also nolan should keep captainicity imo coz when ever he wasn't playing we lost, i think thts about rite, he must do things off the ball that we dont realise, i feel that against reading last season if he would have been on it would have only ben 1-1 rather than 1-3

centre mid has to include andranik and probs nolan, it'll mean some lads missing out but with a bit of rotary things should fit together well, we will prob need speed for europe as he has that experience in it. i'd say meite n faye tht would change come jan to either michalik or cid its good that for the first season for a long time that we have selection problems especiallly up front and midfield still need a few more defenders to push others for places, our best option up front could be anelka n diouf

i've got a good recent funny moment at a footy match, end of season game against birmingham in 06 they had realised they were for the drop and so they did the conga which was being led by bin laden and bush, i kno this isn't too funny but then when the guy in the wet suit jumped over the ad boards in his flippers, snorkel n goggels i couldn't help but laff wot was just as funny was the bobby tryin to catch him but he just couldn't keep up which led to the 'hooligan' as police would say dived into the net, he was able to get up n walk off the pitch without anyone gettin him, our stewards must have thought eh up a bit of action at the reebok, am i the only one to remember this, it was at the south stand end, brightened up the day i spose.

Wilhelmsson not ring any bells, n by the sounds of things our young guns are improvin so ok if u are to be believed we may have a poor run nxt term but our youngsters might come gud in time to save us from sliding. Anyway thers nowt to wrong with the players we've got atm, they just needed to keep up at a team last season n this season without fsa this might (hope) will happen. who would u be happy to see come into the club from the championship?
