Still got it as far as I'm aware. The rules for spending are quite restrictive for such an organisation.

The ST aren't fit for purpose, shame as I see the whole set up as a missed opportunity. The high net worths comment is from an age ago, no longer relevant true or not. Let's hope the new owner isn't relying on fan unity.

Doesnt this make it likely Basran was only acting as a front for someone with means?

The cases were dealt with in batches, hundreds going through on the same day. Not really enough time for proper consideration.

Thought Mr Holliday was given such tasks.

Is there a risk the deal could be in jeopardy if the buyers identity is leaked?

So Basran is basically out Kenning Ken?

Doesnt stop Ian Bridge accessing it.

I think its more likely the other way round, players can walk after a period of non payment. One ray of light is the situation cant go on for much longer, something has got to give in the next week or so. The last thing im worried about is how much Ken will make out of any deal.

So if we were top of the league KA wouldnt be asking more for the club?

It Mike James's pension fund which owns the car parks.

Up to now whats best for KA and whats best for the club have been the same. Unfortunately the sale process has introduced a divergence which has separated this. Whether he cares or not is not relevant, this is a transaction KA will still seek to get the best for himself. One thing for sure is he cannot afford to play the long game, any prospective purchaser knows that and might even be happy to go info admin to save a few million, its not just KA calling the shots. The good news is this cannot go on indefinately, KA cant afford to be in charge now all wells have run dry despite his best efforts to reduce costs. Nothing fans can do but wait, guess things will be resolved one way or another relatively quickly and people can go back to sending Nixon their betting slips.

Idle speculation maybe but you would think anyone with a vested interest in property would be more interested in Mike's car parks than the ground itself. Maybe Mike James's pension pot holds quite a few cards after all if the intention is to complete the retail horse shoe. The £15m payback thing is quite curious, if an investor thinks it will cost say £50m to gain promotion, the £15m payback would be a drop in the ocean against a £200m+ reward. All unless say the soft £15m payment has got a little firmer. This guessing game is quite easy when no one actually knows fuck all. Hold the bells.
  14. If he is still involved it's hardly worth worrying about Mr Allanson.
  15. I'm surprised no one has asked if Ian Bridge is still involved in any capacity.
  16. I often forget that someone who has entered the roundabout (crossed the white line) has right of way. You can be mistaken for thinking there's nothing coming from your right so I will just steam through, this isn't always the case.
  17. The mass walk out will definately happen (only if we are losing by 2 or more goals).
  18. If you havent seen it, Neville Southall's twitter account is excellent and a website link would reach quite an audience. Good luck.
  19. It's sad all round, worst bit is turning fans against fans. Hopefully chip wrappers by the time the season starts.
  20. Guessing end of season loyalty bonuses which caused all the shit at the end of last season (on the basis my guesses are as good as anybody else's)
  21. There could be a positive spin to this, if a takeover is in process, neither party will want to take over the day to day costs until it's complete. Cursed with optimism me.
  22. Sorry for your troubles, mine dont really compete but here goes. Few weeks ago my mum passed away unexpected while my sister was on holiday in Australia. A few days later some cow decided to join my side of the road and hit me head on, somehow she managed to drive off whilst I was wrestling with my airbags. At the time my head felt like I was in a washing machine, I even took some dark humour out of the situation. That humour has fucked right off now, life sometimes is just a big bucket of shitty dogwank.
  23. If you are interested in the potential technical reasons for the fire spread you might find this interesting; http://www.greenbuildingforum.co.uk/newforum/comments.php?DiscussionID=15130&page=1 Seems it could be a whole host of reasons from a failure to install correct fire breaks to a perfect storm of circumstances leading to the catastrophic spread of the fire. Someone makes an interesting point that the Local Authority did not invest circa £10m on the flats in order to cut costs but it might turn out the main priorities of the build process focussed disproportionately on thermal properties rather than fire prevention.
