  1. If someone else comes in it will be Fergals man, Schumacher isn't. Can't believe how quickly the wheels have fallen off.

I hope you're right although I thought we were fookin awful against Northampton most of the game, nowhere near as good as the Cambridge and Charlton performances. All about opinions !

When did we last have two ex players managing against each other? Coyle maybe vs Allardyce?

Agent McGee that, although he did put #WollitzandGromit after the tweet so possibly taking the piss.

Was on Undr the Cosh or summert said when Sharron et al took over he was promised a new contract then left waiting all summer without letting him plan his next season before being told he wasn't needed. Bit more in this article. https://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/sport/18025276.gary-oneil-opens-bolton-return-fell/
  6. He was on with Dion Dublin recently doing a podcast (probably covered elsewhere), it was very interesting, apart from the times the thick brummy cunt was talking, obvs.

He would have to get over the circumstances surrounding his departure from us as a player, done plenty moaning about that.
  8. One I can't fathom, is Santos Rio Ferdinand surrounded by turkeys, or a shit foot on the ball clogger who is no better than those either side of him?
  9. Fuck me, he's had it too easy if anything from the fans so far this game.
  10. That half was no smash and grab, Cambridge looked comfortable. Players look totally devoid of confidence, you can see it in their eyes. I don't even blame Evatt any more, it's tiresome. Hes not going to jack is he theres hundreds of out of work managers? Someone needs to make the big decision, it's probably already too late to save this season, giving him transfer funds to carry on his plan is just nuts. Lots of people comparing him to Phil Neal, I don't see it, Evatt is more like Freedman for me, a philosophical outlier refusing to accept reality. Remember Freedman persisting with Beckford on his own up top week after week cos he read it in a book or summat. Evatt has the same level of blind faith in his 'project'.

Making out it's his decision whether he stays or not fits the definition of delusional.

I'm sure some of them actually think they are too good for this League. I can't remember a Bolton team lacking so much in physicality, character and pace. The way our players either turned their backs in a challenge or would flick the ball to no one instead of engaging the other player was unbelievable. He's distancing himself from them now but the team is a reflection of him, he's sounding more and more deluded after every game.

Agree, any loan player will be contracted to us for just a long as Santos, Baxter etc.

    Scapegoat doesn't even come close.
  15. Nicky Brookman?

There's a player there but the Grealish swagger comes across like he thinks he's too good for this team and league. Doesn't help when he's no set role or position, each game he will try and flick it past a player just to be dispossessed half a dozen times. How we've ended up with three identikit attacking midfielders in a system that doesn't suit one of them god only knows.
  17. HR replied to bwfc2003's topic in Terrace Talk
Our system relies on players having the ability to receive the ball facing their own goal under pressure and recycling. Having only two players who can do this in the team makes a mockery of this system. Be better off pumping it down the channels. Be very lucky to go in only 1 down.

This is what's hard to understand with all the anti English rhetoric. Only 3 of their squad qualify to play for Wales, 23 qualify to play for England. Thick fookin goons. A couple of Hollywood A listers rock up, pat them on the head, film them singing in a pub and they are suddenly big time. Then have the cheek, after paying Championship wages in L2, to make out they are some kind of plucky underdogs. Bod seems a sound guy but his highlight reel for his last 12 months with us is limited to him playing wally with some kid, Netflix will be all over it.

Ballsy move from Evatt to change tactics and try and win the game without much of the ball.
  20. HR replied to gonzo's topic in Terrace Talk
Pleased for those who made the effort. 3-1 down and more or less two own goals for them. Remember you've got to call them 'THE Arsenal..'
  21. Don't hate any team but these lot come close. Most entitled fan base going IMO. Going back to that unfunny, lispy, mop headed cunt Alan Davies slagging us off when we beat them to the time they spent a majority of the game at ours singing 'we pay your benefits' I can only hope they are jamming the radio phone lines again Thursday.

He's got Class B shares, the same as Neil Hart, there could well be a pre-agreed buy back value for them.

His post match comments I find most strange. It had all the fight of his players in the second half Instead of coming out fighting he slagged off the fans and bemoaned not having a big man to throw up top. It's an admission of some kind his system is flawed, bordering on delusional. He's had it mostly his own way and still has some kind of persecution complex. I suppose it was never realistic to expect a 90 point season given the late rebuild, play off hangover, pre season fitness problems and not having the spending power of a Birmingham. Maybe he has had little control of recruitment, not that he deserves any excuses. It's not clear the relationship between FV and the Swiss, this storm is hopefully opportunity to resolve.

I don't understand formations and subtleties of play tbh. What does stand out to me is the lack of energy and pace throughout the team. We play each game like it's a pre season friendly, a half arsed attempt at playing. Can only think it's a lack of belief in the system or maybe they believe the hype. Evatt blaming the fans is incredible, he's had such an easy ride considering, including today. It's such a shame as crowd numbers have been brilliant, he's got some complex. Repeatedly having to reinforce confidence in his own ability screams the opposite.
