Ok, he only had a month and probably spent more than he would have had to in the summer but Megson's signings have been a breath of fresh air.

 

Cahill and Steinsson have been excellent. Very good defenders who are comfortable on the ball. Both can only keep getting better the more they settle.

 

Matt Taylor is unfit but is creating chances and it can only be a matter of time before he gets on the score sheet.

 

Cohen doesn't look to be a bad squad player and Rasiak could also do a job.

 

We should be fine this season. If we can stay up, add a quality creative midfielder to the squad and a good striker we could have a very good Premiership team

I'm with you on this, Taylor looks lightweight to me. OK, he runs around a lot and tries damn hard but so did Pederson for Christ's sake! There's no end product and he loses the ball too easily. As for scoring a screamer in the next few weeks, you can give me half a dozen tap ins for one screamer any day.
