theres no justifying relegation regardless of whether we'd come back up or not, a lot of people are taking us being in the best league in the world for granted.

its going to be a Softies Hard Stuff, Middlebrook branch

bwfcmiskell replied to Boothy's topic in Terrace Talk - 'Classics'

Citeh 2 Wanderers 0 Final Score
bwfcmiskell replied to Happy Wanderer's topic in Terrace Talk - 'Classics'
9-0 city romp, 400 or so wanderers fans then 11 straight losses, coyle resigns, cahill signs on for chelsea, jussi retires, get relegated, less fans, cant afford to maintain the stadium, move in at gigg lane, loose a few more fans, club fold, rip bolton wanderers, city go on to win ever cup every year so nobody likes football anymore beacuse its boring, curling is the nations new favourite sport. -
Will Cahill Ever Play For Bolton Again?
bwfcmiskell replied to bwfcmiskell's topic in Terrace Talk - 'Classics'
on the eve of city away and the say our star player out for the season, not much to cheer about tonight to be honest -
i think if he is to be out for the rest of the season, we may not ever see him in a bolton shirt again, in the summer hes likely to be gone to one of the big boys
-
as much as it is a part of the matchday, i think more than just beer has to be considered when thinking about ways to get fans going back to the reebok

moving the away fans is just one of those things that is much easier said than done, its not going to happen. it would be such a big job, plus theres costs and security risks to be considered, they arent going to move the whole away end just so that we can finally create and 'end'. but there is no doubting that we do need an end, its tradition in world football, its all good being next to the away fans under the big screen as we are but the east lower get out-sang every week by the neighbouring thousands that is the away stand. i think next season, a 'like it or lump it' message should be given to all those currently in the north lower that wish to spend the whole 90 minuted sat down in silence, they should be advised to move seats for the following season as that stand will be used as a singing section, making it tolerable to stand. that way we may go some way to having an 'end' for once in the reeboks life.

no it wasnt plovdiv either they brought a fair few, yeah it was between braga and rabotniki in the uefa cup, both brought around 40 fans
-
ok, i appologies what about what i said though?
-
thats probably the only thing out of the entire paragraph you just wrote that had any relevence to what i said.. you dont know my views on megson, i was a supporter but that was one of his major downfalls. and when you say 'thats the uefa cup for you, deal with it.' thats the attitude of teams who know for a FACT that they are likely to have the chance to have another crack in that competition, something we dont, and something that at the time i think we took for granted after 4 consecutive top 8 finishes

Do Burnley Have All South Stand?
bwfcmiskell replied to captainmed's topic in Terrace Talk - 'Classics'
get that message around town! i could not agree more! -
wowww people must have seriously misinterperated my post, i have by no means forgotten about europe, i went to plovdiv, munich and madrid, i treasure those days with all my heart! my passion was fueled by those days!
-
lets hope thats the case then
-
pardon? of course they are!! but those days seem to have been forgotten about
-
i was furious about the fact he dared to say, "i enjoyed taking the reserve team around europe" he actually doesnt still to this day realise how much pain he caused the club and fans with his whole lack of care towards the uefa cup its not every day that happens!! we should have treasured those days, i'd put my house on us never seeing that competition ever again now unfortunately...

Owen Coyle - BWFC manager
bwfcmiskell replied to superjohnmcginlay's topic in Terrace Talk - 'Classics'
no i dont think that, its just there are many fickle fans, cant make their minds up for themselves, jump on the bandwagon and all that. notice how nobody bothers with away matches any more, wheres the loyalty? -
Owen Coyle - BWFC manager

couldnt agree more, there are some right chumps 'supporting' our club -
because its hull at home, they are one of very few teams in this league who are worse than us, especially with us being at home, coming of the end of a decent result at burnley and an extra days rest over the hull squad
-
what then? a must draw? you and megson would have quite a bit in common..
-
a given i'd have said!
-
yeh that was it
