It was really noticable how the full backs we pushing forward yesterday. Made a huge difference. Again though it was when we decided to sit back and allow them to come at us that we looked vunerable. I'd be happy with the 4-5-1 formation if we keep playing like yest. Bring on the Dingles!

On Football Focus last sat when he had his first interview as Newc manager he swore live on air - should have been a sign of things to come really. Is hilarious to read - anyone found it so you can listen to it? Heard a little bit on radio earlier but they had to stop it because the 'bleep' machine broke.

Is a joke there will come a day when everygame is on a sunday because of a mix of TV and European games. Only then may the authorities do something about it.

My mate has said he is hoping to encourage more meetings in the town centre, not all becuase the club won't be able to send players to meeting there (they have a problem with them drinking apparently!) but have a few there. Would people prefer it if they met in the town centre rather than the Reebok? I think a mix of both would be ok. But defo the cheap ale is positive one. Everyone moans about how expensive it is in there.

Will watch with interest to see how they are treated over there.

Just spoken to my mate who is one of the new committee members. They are elected by members. Committee members have to be members of the association for at least year. If people join up now then by next year try and get on the committee. Last year the old committee made a plee for new people to step forward and declare an interest in joining the committee, only 3 people came forward, so everyone has been given a role to do and it is expected they will be elected at AGM. I'd guess is more people wanted to be involved in running it then there could be more competition for committee members, but as it is at the moment that isn't the case.

Really there are two ways the Premiership will go. EIther a larger 2 league system which has be spoken about above. Or 1 small league of around 16 teams that are chosen to be in it - like the Rugby League Super League. In the end it will all come down to which will be the most profitable.

I know one of the new members of the committee and I understand that some of the 'old guard' of BWSA are not happy about some new appointments to the committee because they are not, 'one of them'. So much so that apparently it might kick off (if you can imagine old grumpy grannies kicking off and throwing hand bags!) at the AGM next month. I think what MK is saying is slowly happening, but it takes time to move a rock. The more people who get involved the easier it will be for them to change things.

If this happened it would be the end of the football league and every club outside the top 36 teams in this new Premier League 1 and Premier League 2. I suspect they will also consider getting rid of relegation from the two leagues and promotion into it. Will turn into an English football super league.

Wasn't Jason Roberts the prefered choice? Would rather we'd have gone for Doyle at Reading rather than Lita.
