6 Worst Refereeing Decisions ( Affecting Bwfc )
freds dad replied to wovlad's topic in Terrace Talk - 'Classics'
Isn't that the same game where Gerry Taggart ran about 80 yards and lumped one of the Wolves players? -
The club continue with their efforts to encourage supporters. http://www.bwfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/Ticke...1402387,00.html

Does this ruling open the gate for other clubs to claim against WHU in games where Tevez was influential. I am thinking of the match at their place where he played a blinder against us. If we had won or got a point would we have finsihed further up the table and therefore got more prize money for a higher finish?

What everyone seems to be forgetting is that near the end of Sams reign the football was bloody awful and we couldn't buy a win. The quality was not there and the likes of Campo and Stelios were past their best. The club needs to buy players who can play creative football as we have enough defending midfielders. We were linked with Gera and Bullard who took us apart on Saturday and although we can't afford the likes of Deco we need some creativity. Im neither a Sam lover or a Megson hater but I do like to see good football and its something we don't do anymore. If Megson went then I would like to see the return of Rioch who had us playing good football but the club will go with someone "safe" After seeing Arsenal take the dingles apart on Saturday I dread to think what they will do to us.

I thought it was 82.1% of stats that were made up or perhaps I looked at the wrong stats! Didn't someone once say "There are lies, damned lies ans statistics" Can't remember who it was.

He really was agreat player in his day but in the interview he forgot to mention my tackle on him in a Football Aid match at the Reebok. He was the celeb player and captain for the opposition, Super John was ours. David Lee had been tormenting our defence most of the match and I was getting piss ed off with it so next time he decided to speed past me I had to take him down with what I though was a great tackle, but the ref pointed out it was a bit late! about 5 minutes was his guess. David took it well, he picked himself up and rifled the free kick into the top corner. I still can't understand why he hasn't mentioned it. If you want to play at the Reebok, and I can highly recommend it have a look at www.footballaid.com PS I scored in the match and bore everyone I see about it, well you would wouldn't you?

I've been to matches at both and the atmosphere at the Nou Camp is far better. Agreed the ground is a bit of a dump but if you've been there when Barca play Real you know what an atmosphere is.

Barton has his FA hearing today for his assault on Dabo while still at the massives. He pleade gulity in court and got 4 months suspended. I think he will get a 10 match ban. Anyone else care to guess how many he will be banned for?

http://www.rivals.net/news/pgarticle.aspx?...85429&id=55 Could it be true. He has been there for several months and this could be a record for him.

From todays Telegraph Kevin Nolan, the Bolton captain who was fortunate to escape a red card after rashly committing what appeared a second bookable offence shortly before half-time, later found himself embroiled in an altercation with one of his own supporters at the Reebok Stadium. It occurred at the end of a feisty scoreless encounter in which West Bromwich coped admirably with the intimidating home physical approach to secure their first Premier League point. Nolan, claiming he had been abused by a Bolton supporter, said: ?People were having a go and I said we were doing our best, although I am not going to say what this particular person said. But I was out of order and apologised to him. ?Fans pay to watch games; they have the right to have a go and are entitled to an opinion. But I am asking them to stand by us as they did last season when they were like a 12th man to us. ?I was wrong doing what I did, but I am an emotional lad and have the good of the club at heart. I have come up through the ranks and people look at me first. It happens to Steve Gerrard at Liverpool and Gary Neville at Manchester United. But we need our fans to put the fear of God into away teams.? Nolan had already received a yellow card when he robustly flattened Leon Barnett near the conclusion of an opening half............. team is Jussi Steinson A Obrien Shittu Samuel Nolan J Obrien Muamba Gardener Terry McCann Davies subs Al Habsi Dzemelia VT Riga Fojut Hunt Helguson I fear we are in for a beating today as I can't see where the goals are coming from -
And don't forget that his scum of an agent will get some wedge as well, so its in his agents interest to get him a move.
-
Of course Meite will be MOTM next week and will probably score the first goal!
-
Surely the players practice pens and have a pecking order of who takes them in case of injuries, subs etc. Perhaps Nolan is our penalty taker for this season.

Sorry. I had a quick look through the postings but coudln't see one, but the link you have posted doesn't seem to work.

Has anyone else seen this fantastic programme about a "football dad" (Steve Edge from Phoenix Nights) who is driving his son on to play football and wants him to play for BWFC. If you missed the first one catch it on the BBC iplayer.

As someone else said lets give GM 10 matches to prove that his team can do the business. If after that we are struggling ala Sammy Lee then the club will have to look at letting him go but until them lets get behind the club.

Just watching the BBC news and they are on about WBA not having a shirt sponsor. They are the 1st club to start a Prem season without a sponsor. perhaps we should thanks Reebok. They will be sponsored by Tampax by Christmas as the will be going through a bad period.

1-1 is 11/2 at betfred. seems a good price
