RIP Owd Onion
My dad was a similar type. He introduced me to the Whites, kept me away from the red filth and enjoyed going to matches into his 60's when he decide they were all over paid nancy boys and that was in the 80's.
Perhaps he knew what was coming
Most places are around the ?99 mark, Amazon have some around ?96. You may save a fiver max but is it worth the hassle of hours on tinternet and don't buy reconditioned unless they are giving a 12 month guarantee/
I think WHU relegation chances depend on their financial outcome especially the Sheff Utd payment they may have to make. If they have to sell in january to balance the books and don't replace then they are my favourites to go down, and i won't be shedding ay tears.
We had a 5 game winning streak in the April of the 03/04 season when we beat Wolves away 2-1, Spurs home 2-1, Sothampton away 2=1, Leeds at home 4-1 and Everton away 4-1.
I can't remember a better winning streak than that.
I work for BT and I get them all day at the telephone exchange telling me they can do me a better deal on the landline they have called. When I point out where they have called some of them persist that they can better the cost of my calls, which is nowt. Its at that time I put them on hold and place the receiver next to the radio. The record for one of them holding on is 7 minutes!
And why did the ref book the Atletico Madrid player for kicking off after the goal and booting it over the bar and also Deco getting booked for Chelsea for taking a quick free kick. It was his second yellow and off he popped
My selection would be this assuming Riga is fit and Elmander isn't but then again it is Megson picking his worst/best team so we will probably see JOB in there somewhere with Hunt recalled from Brum
