😆.. Great experience for your lad though. Could see particularly early on a few where very nervous… your right about Stockport being physically bigger. Lad in midfield was huge!

Thought there wasn’t a lot between them. Stockport probably edged the first half Burnley the second. Definitely but for a couple of very good saves it would have been a draw. I saw your lad was upset at the end. Tough one to take in a final.. the game was a decent watch though.

They’ve always said don’t worry about it.. he’s with them for the long haul to be fair. In certain games this season he has just lacked game time because of it… 😂 I recall that incident... Me and my son where sat in the home end that evening 😒

Unfortunately he’s not playing up.. he’s actually a young one at 13s and by the looks of things a late developer. In terms of sizes this season it’s carnage. Some are like men and some like my lad could pass for primary school age.. size seems to be a big driver for county at the minute so it’s a tough time for my lad! his group have been given the night off training to go down and watch. So I’ll no doubt be there.

Could anyone recommend a club for my lad. He’ll be 6 in a few weeks. He’s been playing in football classes for about 2 years. Hes Got the makings of having abit of talent been told from a few coach’s hes decent. Having not been involved in football myself for years I’ve no idea where would be decent for him. We live in the Chorley area.

I’m split on this. On the one hand what’s the point! On the other this is an opportunity to have our best World Cup since 66 still.

I might be wrong but to have the fan ID. All you need is a ticket reference and that can be for a game that has already been. That reference can be used for more than one fan ID. Might be complete bollocks but I’m sure I read that.

Not too sure. It's frustrating for me and my sons going to be really disappointed when he doesn't have it for his birthday. But there's a wider issue here. The club fails to realise that locally we are competing with a lot of other clubs. You can bet Wigan and Blackburn will have their clubs kit for sale and you only have to go to JD sports for united, city etc.

Just been to the club shop this morning to get my little lad the new kit for his 5th birthday next week only to be told the mini kits won't be in stock instil September. What sort of piss take is that. He was absolutely buzzing to be getting the new kit. What sort of club that wants to inspire youngsters to come along doesn't have the kit ready for the new season!!
