  1. Seems a bit rough on the none football supporters of Leeds to me Homer.
  2. Of course Juan this is your opinion and I appreciate it. Mine is that he took a lot of credit that belongs to BSA alone. Irrelevent really my point is it is time for a change at the top now, history is history we should be looking forward to the future.
  3. Yes correct.
  4. Sometimes it is not about saving money, it is about getting more from the money you are spending. A new face with different ideas, fresh ideas could be what the club needs. That is my opinion and this site is about opinions, the more opinions the better.
  5. I would find him being away from the Reebok quite entertaining and for that matter it would be a just move. Why should the people on the pit face be the only ones to suffer? I have just re read my script and at no point in it did I suggest that the ticket office take charge. I would like to see him replaced with someone maybe younger and with a new look at the situation the club finds itself in. Horse shit my arse.
  6. As in all businesses the big savings on salaries are made at the top of the organisation. Goodbye Phil, I would love to say its was good to know you, but it wasnt so I wont say it.
  7. I totally agree Glossop, means nowt. It is the doom and gloom merchants at it again before a ball is kicked in anger.
  8. I resemble that remark, but shouldnt it be Norman Notright??????
  9. Have there been any other behind the scenes departures with moving down to the fizzy pop league? Or have all the savings been made on the pitch?
  10. Sorry Gonzo, dont know what ITK means so cant use that.........................as for FACT the link to The Daily Record, a rag of high standing in Scotland ANYWAY, says ?2 millon and Celtic are more than interested.
  11. How about this chap? dont think Coyle could cope with him. Meanwhile, Celtic could land Newcastle striker Leon Best for a knock-down price after missing out on him in January due to family reasons. Full story: Daily Record
  12. I still think the spring cleaning will not go far enough, i.e. Coyle and Gartside out on their arses. I am though looking forward to the new season and the new challenge. COYFWM
  13. So he should its easy money...........................................Kean is not having one of his better years is he.
  14. Heavily edited extract from an interview with BBC Radio Manchester...... "The experiences we've all had this year have been unique and unprecedented," continued Gartside. "These are not excuses, they are reasons. AND SHOULD NOT BE CONSIDERED WHEN AWARDING ME A BONUS. LAST SEASON I ONLY LOST ?35M AND GOT ?160K, WITH SAVING ALL THAT MONEY ON PLAYING STAFF WAGES, UP TO 50% AND MAKING THE TEA LADY AND A FEW OTHERS REDUNDANT I SHOULD DOUBLE THAT.
  15. I would have BSA back tomorrow, it would mean both Gartside and Coyle had gone.........................triple whammy.
  16. Rest in peace Jack
  17. Now the dust has settled it is time to talk without undermining the team. Yes miamiwhite we can get rid of the deadwood. hope that includes the manager, his backroom staff and the Chairman. Onward and upward come on you whites.
  18. Nothing suprises me at the moment. I dont go for conspiracy, that its a dastardly plot designed by QPR to undermind us on Sunday, or that Grants agent is punting him for a job at BOLTON??????. I do believe that there are elements within the club that have more faces than the town hall clock.
  19. This is a distraction we dont need. Everyone and everything should be focused on the game at Stoke and every effort should be put into getting the win we so badly need. Everything else should be put on a back burner until the final whistle.
  20. When Burnley went down last season, some Blackburn supporters arranged for a plane to fly over Turf Moor with a banner saying, words to the effect, stay down and dont come back. I am told a local Burnlry business man is funding an helicopter, which will fly over Ewood and drop a few hundred frozen chickens on the playing surface........................When thy go down.
  21. FROM BBC WEBSITE In a statement, Fabrice Muamba - discharged from hospital - says: "I am naturally very pleased to be discharged from hospital and would like to take this opportunity to pay tribute to every single member of staff at The London Chest Hospital who have played a part in my care. Their dedication, professionalism and expertise is simply amazing and I will forever be in their debt. I also wish to say thank you to all the many well-wishers who have sent thousands of messages of support. Now I am out of hospital, I am looking forward to continuing my recovery and spending precious time with my family."
  22. Bolton Wanderers manager Owen Coyle comments on Fabrice Muamba being discharged, saying in a statement: "It is absolutely fantastic news that Fabrice has been discharged from hospital and everyone at the club is delighted."
  23. Many thanks, sorry to be numb but where/what is the Alaxandra? Any news on his recovery, when do they think he will be out and about, what are the prospects of a return as a player to BWFC?
  24. Any update on his progress and where he is?
