  1. 1232 FOOTBALL: Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas has said he expects Bolton's Gary Cahill to be a Chelsea player by the end of the week. "Still an ongoing negotiation, not that we don't want it resolved as soon as possible," said Villas-Boas. BBC WEBSITE
  2. I think they could add to the "out" list too, its not just SKD thats put in less than sod all over the season.
  3. I prefer Homers slant on the story. Balotelli is a modern day Robin Hood, taking money from the rich Arabs and distributiong it to the poor, like insurance companies, Manchester City Council in parking fines and other poooooooor people. Hughsey I agree with you too, Green is a cunt.
  4. I heard from a usually very reliable source that he gets ?50k at the Reebok. Not much incentive to go during the transfer window. His negotiating stance will be far stronger with no fee at the end of the season. He still plays for England and still gets the same wages, so he dips out on a few champions league games.........Hope they up his wages offer, we need the money for team strengthening for the run in.
  5. Might be a good time to get rid and get a couple of quid in on the deal. His heart doesnt seem to be in it for some reason at the moment.
  6. I've heard, got kicked out two weeks ago for flashing (and it wasnt his wad)
  7. Agreed Homer mate, its paper talk so everyone thinks it must be right.
  8. So fucking young, RIP Gary
  9. I have to agree with Walkden, use the Clich?s if you wish, fat lady sings, half full, half empty we have to believe that we can get out of this crappy position until we can't. That is what being a Bolton supporter is all about IMO. Until we have a money bags backer we will always be in this position.
  10. Freds Dad, cynical but I would say true.............
  11. Thats the guy I heard. But was told it was at least one.
  12. Yes heard the same Homer mate, I was told that it involved at least 1 loan deal put together by Chelsea to seal it.
  13. No dont hate him at all. He is doing the best he can with what he has got. The people above him in the club need to piss or get off the pot in my opinion.
  14. Correct on both counts, Alan Ball was from Farnworth, they said he was too small. A bit of trivia, his grannny used to mop the steps at the coop when it was about were Argos is now, opposite the market hall. He used to frequent Tara's in Mealhouse Lane. Squeeky voiced dwarf. Excellent footballer thou.
  15. Well done CWP, absolutely great suggestion. Wouldnt have thought the fraudsters and theives at FIFA could find time to think of a compromise as good as this, its very time consuming opening brown envelopes and devising new scams.......As for our politicos its equally time consuming robbing the taxpayer via bogus expense claims. They should be queuing up to thank you too, you have saved them hours of deep thought.
  16. I will tell you what the fucking problem is. I find it difficult if not impossible to step back, I was in the army for nine years. I seem to spend most of my time trying not to offend people, on this one I dont give a flying fuck. In my unit we had black people, muslims, Indos, Irish, Aussies, Kiwis and others too. This is the way the majority of British people show their respect to the fallen of our country, where ever in the world they find themselves at this time of the year. If you dont want to ruffle feathers dont, but I do. If you dont want to wear a poppy, dont but I will. It is a fairly basic right, the people who wish to wear the white poppy do without fear or question, as do the people who dont want for whatever reason to wear one at all. Our FA must want to, otherwise they wouldnt have asked.
  17. Pablo "The Poppy" doesnt celebrate war. It is an emblem of respect to the people who lost their lives.
  18. Speedy response, sorry if I disagree. Cant remember seeing one anywhere else in the world, unless it was on the lapel of an expat. If you don't want to wear one be my guest.
  19. Take the fine and fuck um, why can't we show our Britishness, too many people sticking their oar into our business anyway.
  20. Forgot about the signing on eliment for the other players but it still underlines what I said. You made no mention of the other points?
  21. Matt, It did not add up to ?7.2 million, but then what about the 5% increased attendance, the increases in corporate, increase in merchandise sales and the TV money etc.......... BWFC have just released the financial info for last year, could it be the team suffered to improve the balance sheet, or am I a sceptic? Improved balance sheets usually relate to higher bonuses for the top management. mmmmmmmmm It appears there is nothing worth having in the EPL transfer market below ?5 mil, None of our incomers were near that. Garside out.
  22. I agree with Homer, 10 games in and one point better than LSL I think. To change now will give us another wage bill on garden leave, a period with no manager at all and when the new manager arrives another transitional period or even periods. All this and no money to spend. The powers that be didnt help Coyle in the summer, they didnt even give him back the money earned in the transfer market. Garside out.
  23. His arse pipe by the sounds of it. His head is well up there. Its a team game, he needs to get the whole team playing for him, both players and support staff. He's a bit like the tories, he seems to only have a plan A..................
  24. Wasn't he a tory councillor for Bradshaw a long time ago? Don't know what is more frieghtening, watching him kicking wingers in to the stand at Burnden or seeing him swinging that silver handled walking cane he now uses.
