  1. Why the feck does Parkinson always do this when we take a lead. Sit on it. Despite the stats from when he does exactly that. Its like we give the opposition confidence instead of going for the throat
  2. Hindsight is a beautiful thing, and yes a few months on, it now looks like that was exactly what we should have done. To do it now removes many uncertainties further down the line, not to mention Davies future demands and still loading us with debts. Sure, he is a creditor in administration, but better to lance the boil now, because let's face it, we're not going to be promoted this season
  3. No you're right, the place is so harmonious, and the new regime have really straightened all the most basic problems, it's fucking stupid to think that there's anything to worry about

  5. It's an argument, for sure, but when there is declared journalistic editorial of evidence of discord between the new owners, there is clearly smoke and fire. You can argue that KA would keep the money in his account until the last minute, but then you weigh that against the negative PR that creates as the new incumbent, not to mention relations at board (if we had one) level. The whole thing stinks. I actually think it would be better if we went into administration. Clean slate, and hopefully more attractive to a buyer that doesn't need monitoring by the league for 18 months
  6. We have managed to put a whole lot of distance between us and administration/oblivion. Yesterday we saw a multitude of players going, so to further ease cash flow. Budgets are now reconciled, as shitty as that is on most staff. And yet we still navel gaze about the probability of one of our best ( and inexpensive) assets being sold. We're under no pressure to sell, we won't sell. Chill.
  7. Jesus wept, this is offending on the eye
  8. The people saying it's going to be good are the same deluded twats who banged on that it would be great getting relegated from the premier to the championship, because 'great days out, we'll win more games'. Well we didn't, in fact we got tonked by the mighty Rotherham, and now look up longingly at the likes of Preston, and Bristol city. I guess the same people prefer watching Madine to Campo. I've seen us lose to Aldershot, the 80's were the dregs, no matter what beer and rose tinted specs you're currently wearing. Sorry, I wish there were some positives to cling on to, but call a spade a spade
  9. Jeez, there are some Mensa challenged types on this site. Read what I said
  10. Of course it is. But if I was looking at spending a shed load in a club, I'd want to do a due diligence and that includes the chairman, irrespective of an owners wishes. Which means either im right and the story is crap, or you are, which explains why we can't sell this albatross round our necks
  11. And you think any prospective buyer wouldn't want to talk to the guy doing the day to day? Come on mounts!
  12. That'll be rubbish because why would he? If Davies is disaffected with Gartside, he'd sack him, not pay him X each month. A non story in an unfortunate situation where we are drifting

Well let's stop the handbags, as everyone wants to out geekery each other. Far too much time on your hands. Kevin Nolan is still available. Maybe there's stuff we're not privy to, but on face value he's something we need, unless of course he prefers semi retirement to being kicked. Would have reinvigoratong qualities, unless of course someone wants to hit the 'I know better' geek button

Nice to see that in an era of such financial crisis at Bolton that Jay would show off his brand new Audi and shit 1970's Tesco PE pumps. And what a crap picture. Not Spearing's fault that he was offered the contract he signed. But come on Jay, show some intelligence and decorum. Jeez, I can't understand the thought process that involved putting shoes on a car. What a shit picture
  15. Are we in a seance or a general forum?
  16. In our promotion season under Allardyce there was a defender in our team that even though a non regular earned 3K a week, he was very happy with that. That puts him on a pay scale with the current PM. footballers get injured, ladies on the check out at Tesco get let go, there is no difference, except the footballers get more, certainly now. D'you want to play or are you navel gazing?
  17. Sure thing, Mr flat earth
  18. Identikit response, to many on here, once on the cusp of relegation from the prem. and now look...
  19. That's what I said about reputations Mounts. He had a very good one when we took him on, and bar the religious zealots, we were all pleased. An outsider may now have their doubts. If you were good at your job, but weren't backed by those above, would let your good work go to waste, or walk?
  20. This isn't physics, I'm not in any position to define anything Bolton related, nor are you. I can liken it to Brighton (not the team) though. Faded English grandeur. You can see what it was, and now the decline has made it shit.
  21. I can't see him putting up with this much longer. We all know he lobbied for the Leicester job - can't blame him - and the longer this goes on the more his reputation turns to dust. He needs backing, and though this is probably controversial; Eddie, thank you so much for your patronage, it will never be forgotten, but close the door on your way out, you are now the problem, not the solution
  22. Yeah but you rate Feeney.
  23. Yes and you think Mills was rubbish, despite not being soft. Time to move on.
  24. Tactics, shape, motivation, coaching, are a managers job (and thus far doing a good one), but you think our player of the year for two seasons, is a bit rubbish??
