His shooting has just improved...twat

Top of clean sheet table with 6 and top of least goals conceded table with 10. Solid foundations and on last nights performance definitely going in the right direction.

First time I've seen a full game in over 4 years. Yes the quality isn't quite what it was but....steady keeper, solid centre halfs, Spearing and Derik ran midfield, Madine worked hard and Clough got what he deserved. First pen dubious but second nailed on. Ameobi will always cause moments of havoc. Only weak link for me was Wilson but well chuffed with that result. 87 years put right!

Shit haircut??

Watched both games on tellybox. Both times I have been proper impressed with the commitment, organisation and teamwork. Yes there have been mistakes but fuck me we have been playing a team costing millions. Before NL there would have been no replay just a cricket score. Can't fault any one tonight not even Danns. Silly maybe, committed yes. But most importantly Proud to be a Wandererer

My missus is shit at ironing should I be concerned -
I work with a Wolves fan who went to the game. In his view :- Wolves weren't great; If the Bolton team that finished the game had started then Wolves would have got beat; Bolton players lack confience and play like they are scared of making a mistake. Looking at other posts this seems like a fair assessment.

Grimsby. Always a good following, a great licensed chippy just outside the ground, good away pub "The Leaking Boot" and post-match bears and an indian in Cleethorpes. Happy days!

The question wasn't put "friendly" hence (rightly or wrongly) the response. As Carlos says you would probably get your collar felt these days but he didn't.

Well that failed..... For what it's worth my dad comes from a generation that was able to go where they wanted in a ground without segregation and so took objection to being asked who he supported as in his mind it shouldn't matter. Like you he speaks his mind.

Go on I'll bite......so do you sometimes but hey we can't all be perfect

Bury with my dad in early eighties. Stood in Manchester Road end amongst Bury fans. A young policeman asked my dad who he was supporting to which my dad replied " I was born and lived in Bolton for 25 years and I've lived in Bury for 25 years...where do you want me to stand the fucking half way line!!". Young policeman walked off without further comment.

Both grandads and my dad followed Bolton. One grandad first took me when I was five - used to stand in floodlight gantry in Lever End. Then Dad took over a we went in the Paddock, and there I stayed. In short I was brung up proper!!

Pretty much all egg chasers here with a smattering of Pilgrims although all the kids wear DMB, Chelski or gooners shirts. One kid at my lads school was called Thierry for fucks sake!!
-
Heard that when we went up in 78-79 grounds had to have certain % of seats and Burnden didn't so they ruined the Lever End.

That'll do for me!

Until I saw that video I had forgotten how much I dislike those fuckin plastic scouse cunts.

sacking Megson, although that followed one of the worst ever sporting decisions in appointing the cretin in the first place

Aye, I'm glad he's not the only one he gave 30 years to and still ran fuckin rings round them. He once also drafted Peter Nicholson into that Monteraze team....not in the same class as Greavo...right dirty whingin bastard and he didn't own a pub you could get pissed in after!!

My Dad, Uncle and Grandad had all gone to game separately. Luckily all 3 didn't get caught up in it despite all 3 being on the Embankment! Apparently my Grandma was beside herself until they all (separatley) returned safe. Dad had no idea wahat had really gone on until he got home and it were on t'wireless. RIP.

I dont necessarily disagree. His motives might be genuine but if not then the orphans are still benefiiting. Priceless.
