  1. His shooting has just improved...twat
  2. Top of clean sheet table with 6 and top of least goals conceded table with 10. Solid foundations and on last nights performance definitely going in the right direction.
  3. First time I've seen a full game in over 4 years. Yes the quality isn't quite what it was but....steady keeper, solid centre halfs, Spearing and Derik ran midfield, Madine worked hard and Clough got what he deserved. First pen dubious but second nailed on. Ameobi will always cause moments of havoc. Only weak link for me was Wilson but well chuffed with that result. 87 years put right!
  4. Shit haircut??
  5. Watched both games on tellybox. Both times I have been proper impressed with the commitment, organisation and teamwork. Yes there have been mistakes but fuck me we have been playing a team costing millions. Before NL there would have been no replay just a cricket score. Can't fault any one tonight not even Danns. Silly maybe, committed yes. But most importantly Proud to be a Wandererer
  6. My missus is shit at ironing should I be concerned
  7. I work with a Wolves fan who went to the game. In his view :- Wolves weren't great; If the Bolton team that finished the game had started then Wolves would have got beat; Bolton players lack confience and play like they are scared of making a mistake. Looking at other posts this seems like a fair assessment.
  8. Grimsby. Always a good following, a great licensed chippy just outside the ground, good away pub "The Leaking Boot" and post-match bears and an indian in Cleethorpes. Happy days!
  9. This. A few others stand out but this was the pinnacle - Trotters in Europe. Who'd a thowt!! This.
  10. clever that - ta muchly
  11. Bastard....had me going there!
  12. The question wasn't put "friendly" hence (rightly or wrongly) the response. As Carlos says you would probably get your collar felt these days but he didn't.
  13. Well that failed..... For what it's worth my dad comes from a generation that was able to go where they wanted in a ground without segregation and so took objection to being asked who he supported as in his mind it shouldn't matter. Like you he speaks his mind.
  14. Go on I'll bite......so do you sometimes but hey we can't all be perfect
  15. Bury with my dad in early eighties. Stood in Manchester Road end amongst Bury fans. A young policeman asked my dad who he was supporting to which my dad replied " I was born and lived in Bolton for 25 years and I've lived in Bury for 25 years...where do you want me to stand the fucking half way line!!". Young policeman walked off without further comment.
