You'll be lucky to get 2% on a cash ISA from April. Santander 123 only pays 3% on balances up to £20K, you get bugger all on the rest of your £50K. Don't be surprised if those interest rates are rapidly reduced in the light of the budget. Having said that, it's the most attractive option out there at the moment.
  3. You could sometimes watch the entire game for free if the operator let you climb over the turnstile.
  4. Not surprised Lennon's pissed off with that. Some of the chances we missed were easier to score and their goal was an absolute shocker. It bounced twice before it went in.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-31924791 "The chancellor has promised that the first £1,000 of interest earned on savings will be free of tax from April 2016..." Isn't this just going to kill off cash ISA's, given the paltry rates of interest on offer?

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/31809802 "The league table doesn't lie but a club like this shouldn't be where it is. Some of the senior players have a weak mentality but I can't do anything about that until the end of the season when we will still be hopefully in the Championship."
  7. Ex-Ipswich manager as well.
  8. You mean no one is willing to listen to your half baked version of events. I've asked you how many ticketless fans were there but you don't appear to know, even though you say it as if it were fact.
  9. So you don't actually know? How about giving us the police estimate then?
  10. How many turned up without tickets?
  11. Home form = top three Away form = bottom three
  12. But that's exactly what the police did when the same two teams played at the same ground in the semi-final the year before...
  13. It's the job of the Police to stop that happening. It's called crowd control.
  14. Arsenal could be 3-0 up already.
  15. I hate the manufactured 'atmosphere' at these European games. Some bloke bellowing into a megaphone for the whole game regardless of what's happening on the pitch.
  16. 'Sticking to his guns'? They'd completely lost control by that point. It wasn't part of some masterplan they were following.
  17. The mistake they made was not closing the gates to the central pen before they opened the main gates. They had no choice but to open the main gates to relieve the crush outside.
  18. Might be better off getting an Oyster card. Tube fares are capped at £7.50 per day for Zones 1-3, regardless of how many journeys you make.
  19. Bradford bitch and moan about not being on the BBC and then stink the place out when they are.
  20. I don't feel anything for Reading. Can't think of a more nondescript team and set of supporters in the country.
  21. Just what your side needs when your two nil down.
  22. What a terrible game of hoofball this is.
  23. Mind you their own supporters haven't done them any favours on that first goal, lobbing a giant beach ball into the penalty area when they were defending a corner.
  24. Bradford haven't turned up so far.
  25. I think that was Palace for obvious reasons. Malcolm Allison changed it to 'The Eagles' along with their badge and the colour of their kit, in the days when managers could do that sort of thing.
