Happy Birthday Roy Greaves
The attendance for the league game at White Hart Lane was not only bigger than one of the FA Cup semi-finals but it was the biggest attendance in the country that day even though Man Utd, Liverpool, Leeds and Newcastle all had home fixtures in the First Division.

That's an improvement on the relegation battle you kept telling us we were in.

Don't think you can get commentary on Radio Manc inside the UK either.

Happy Birthday Roy Greaves
We played them four times that season. Twice in the FA Cup and twice in the league. There were 32,000 on for the FA Cup replay at Burnden. 34,000 were in attendance for the league game. Bonus points if you remember how many were on for league game at White Hart Lane.

That demonstrates why you should never look at stats in isolation. You might as well quote the average attendance we had in 1976/77, when we were one of the best supported clubs in the country despite being in the Second Division.- Todays Games
4 points from the last 12. Normal service resumed. Tinkering will shortly commence.- Club Financial Results
You're completely missing the point.- Cameron & Milliband
I don't really understand the point of having a debate on national issues with a load of single-issue parties. It was a complete mess. Alf Garnett and the others should have had to pre-qualify for a chance to debate with the three main parties.- Club Financial Results
They spent that £3M on players including Rickie Lambert and Jose Fonte when they were in the Third Division. They were able to do this because the bulk of their debt had been written off the previous season. That's the whole point of going into administration. If they hadn't, they would have had to sell players like Lallana and Schneiderlin, who were still playing for them in the Premier League.- Cameron & Milliband
That sums it up perfectly. Every answer seems to be an exercise in trying to crowbar in some lame soundbite. What a depressing shower of shite they are. It's a toss up for the biggest loon between Farage or that Aussie.- Club Financial Results
Oh aye those 'dreamers' who pore over the club's finances every season.- Bwfc In Your Lifetime..

Getting relegated isn't going to make anything better.- Club Financial Results
Yes and that money went to buy players rather than paying off debts that had already been written off when they went into administration the previous season.- Club Financial Results
You used Southampton as an example. The only reason that Southampton were able to go forwards was because they didn't have to sell half their team to pay off their debts. Sheffield Utd, on the other hand, are still in the Third Division. What makes you think that we would eventually bounce back?- Club Financial Results
Southampton went into administration and wrote off all their debt, thus avoiding selling their young talent to bail themselves out. How do you suggest that we follow that model, when we don't have the sort of in-depth talent they had and the majority of our debt is to the owner of the company? I don't think any club should be allowed to go into administration. They should be kicked out of the league altogether.- They Want Locking Up!
