Taylor came from a higher level of football than lge1 on a free so that was seen by all as a good signing. Both Gale and Simons have improvement in them just like both Stephenson and Watson this season. Hard to fault any of those signings....SS hands were tied last summer and had to rebuild and clear the decks and bring in players on a zero net spend. Apter again was a high end lge1 player at Blackpool it just did not work out here....Davies and Watson certainly were in talks with the club January onwards so would have signed if we had never won promotion. Our main signings have yet to come in this window......If this Spaniard signs this week it will be seen as top signing. Other main signings will be going on behind the scenes.

I have seen nobody Judge us after that one performance. I took more positives from the game than negatives. Just when i and others say x y or z are not good enough cue the happy clappers. First the positives... first half......Stephenson looked good nothing more to say about that half. Second half Young keeper looks better than bonham with the ball at his feet other than that he had nothing to do...Davies and Forino looked solid, Conway got down the left much more than Famewo though Famewo looks like a old fashioned left back so SS has both options. Ritchie, Watson both excellent and Warren did himself no harm one more season out on loan and i think he could be ready next season Rodrigues class and has a nasty streak which i like in a 10.... Another dozen over both halfs steady and still rusty they will get better another 4/5 awful because they are just not up to the Standard and need gone asap Ritchie for one like a new signing and should be in the first team squad this coming season

Young lads decent. Defence looked more solid second half....Like Rodrigeus nasty streak Watson and Ritchie both good. Davies and Forino steady........They were awful and shithouses very Stevenage Take Dalby, Stephenson and Sheehan and perhaps The lad we got from Hull and none of the rest are Championship ready from that first half team

Yard slower than these.....Stephenson best of a bad bunch......We will get better but if we start with Bonham we are not going to survive. Just my opinion
