It was just a example....Ok if Stoke lose 50m they will still be able to spend 85% of turnover on wages. So our losses be they 5m or 14m have no bearing in what we can spend this season

I have glanced over the new SCR rules.....Glance being the operative rules. Seems a few on here have misunderstood them or have i??? The rules state we can spend up to 85% of our turnover plus a further 13m on wages for all staff.....It matters not how much we lose in that season. So we could lose 50m and still have a healthy budget.....Which will give teams like Stoke a huge advantage as it wont matter how much they lose they will budget to push all of that 85% to the limit

See us being way more direct than previous seasons...keeper will be knocking it long

Time will tell, and Tutu did not stay injury free Granted nothing more serious than a knock. Johnston had one bad injury and played pretty much every game before and two seasons after the injury and Dempsey was used sparingly not sure he completed 90 mins. He has brought in two players who started about a dozen games between them and another Dozen from the bench......Why not bring one established player in is all i am asking Tuchall brought Saka, James and Stones to a month tournament pretty certain he never thought they would be crocks

jmjhb puts a point across that really has nothing to do with my question which was why have we signed two players in the same position that have never been effective in the last few seasons. We will need consistency next season and i do not believe these two can bring that. We could bring in Reece James and he would be the best full back in the league but your only going to get six games out of him all season. There is every chance by Oct/Nov our two centre backs will be Toal and Forino and our left back will be Conway because our two Left sided centre backs/LB are in the treatment room. Toal and Foirino also do not have the best injury records so we may have to throw Temple/Inwood in Surely people can see we need players who are going to be playing week in week out

Anybody else curious as to why we have brought in two left sided centre backs that were decent around 2021/22. Now some will take the view they are the best we can attract. If we combined their wages surely we could have brought in somebody who is above those two, much younger and would play 40 odd games......Not sure we are getting 40 games combined

I think Conway will have a great career [hopefully with us] It wont be at left back though

His days at left back are numbered.....Either as a wing/back or left sided midfielder is where Conway will play most of his career

No need for me to give my penny worth, me you and 90% of the man on the street know he has selected a awful squad and players who are carrying injuries.

All about opinions....Two or three i was impressed with last season. He was great in the play-offs but he is not championship quality but that is only my opinion

Bonham. Desmond and GT were excellent in the play-offs but are simply not Championship quality. Not sure we can stay up if Bonham is first choice next season. It is harsh but every player has levels......And we have four or five more that will struggle

The lad at Hull seems to be a carbon copy of Ben Davies and has been in and around lge1/Championship for a good few years. Conways playing time next season seems limited. The forward from France seems a roll of the dice and could be anything, we could get 10m for him next season or he could flop......These are the gambles the club needs and if he can get Kenny in on the last day i will be more than happy with the way the club is heading.

Had a quick look at why our losses jumped from 5m 22/23 to 11m 23/24 despite getting to Wembley twice.....Explanation given significant investment across all sectors of the business. Did we purchase the training ground??? Did we pay any of the charges back ie car park land?? Did FV pay money back when they purchased the club but only paid it back this year.......No idea

Preston was subsidised most months by the Hemmings family to the tune of between 1and 2 million pounds. They are in the middle of being sold to a Billionaire and all the fans are loving this.........The Hemmings family have kept that team in the Championship the last 15 years......Doubt this new mon will Wigan, Barnsley are all owned by Billionaires who do not really invest in the club
