  1. No but we have a lot more supporters than Bury so can pee about as much as we want
  2. Season tickets in time for Doncaster a week on Tuesday unlikely now
  3. Get over yourself, I've responded to your posts about 3 or 4 times , the last time was a few weeks ago. This is a message board. If you don't like people disagreeing with you, start a blog. Have a pleasant evening.
  4. No, I can't see James making financial decisions based on whether Football Ventures are praised or criticised by Marc Iles on his twitter Seriously, can you?
  5. Biggest crowd of 2000/01 - 24,000 on a Tuesday night in February v Grimsby - because it was a fiver for anybody Biggest crowd in third tier under Ken - 23,000 v Chesterfield because it was a fiver for anybody It's offers like Season ticket holders can buy a ticket for a mate for a tenner that don't increase the crowd much.
  6. £24 + £5 on the bus from Bolton is an expensive afternoon for just one member of the family. If families have strict household budgets to stick to, they shouldn't overspend because irresponsible owners of BWFC didn't stick to a sensible budget
  7. Nope, SSN told us Muamba was dead and the takeover was imminent a fortnight ago.
  8. It will be great if that's true, we deserve some luck us.
  9. Coventry fans will be looking forward to a trip to Birmingham's ground to buy their tickets
  10. Totally the opposite for me. I would have cringed 20 years ago but not now. After the financial mismanagement of the Eddie era and Ken coming in and not giving a fuck about anything but himself , potenial owners need to know they will be under scrutiny.
  11. The chants are probably because the EFL let someone with no money and as dodgy a track record as Ken take control? They seemed keen to help us get the Wycombe match on
  12. So when two businesses re-arrange a lease it isn't a commercial arrangement? What would you call it
  13. Aye it's a nice match to start the season with - long trip down south to a small new ground with a packed away end and beer tent. Imagine if the fixture list had thrown up Tranmere at home as the first match - it would have been somewhat harder to get excited and proud about watching the youth team lose 4-0 in front of 17,000 empty seats
  14. Gudni Bergsson was relegated with us twice but is still picked in all time great Bolton elevens by many supporters..
  15. Kinell, I didn't know our players had driven to Nottm Forest in their cars because the owner wouldn't pay for a bus!
  16. I think you mean Gary Henshaw on Tower, i liked his co commentary but you couldn't celebrate a goal until the commentator had con firmed! Jack Dearden is another who gets too excited with a near miss.

    Bury

He saved his best cuntery till the end adding the D after Steven
  18. Tower FM is a loss to Bolton based fans. There has never been another radio station giving full match commentary on every Bolton match. It will have to be back to the Man City station GMR and occasional full commentary from the excitable Jack Dearden.Full commentary on GMR also means annoying reports on other matches more often than on Tower
  19. Aye, I don't see the Supporters Trust responsible for the club's plight in any way.I blame irresponsible owners for gambling all the club's Sky money down the shitter.
  20. It's been widely reported that this loan from the PFA is to pay current players wages only, players who have already left will have them deferred for up to 2 years. The Accrington chairman likes moaning about unfair treatment of his small club compared to bigger ones, he is entitled to an opinion like anyone else. They wouldn't be able to afford Ched Evans wages. I hope we bring Evans in and partner him with Madine if we can get away with it.
  21. I can't see the Accrington chairman being chuffed if Bolton are deferring some players wages for 2 years yet allowed to sign someone as expensive as Ched Evans
  22. That's the point he is making. There is no chance a small club like Accrington would be loaned £2 million by the PFA in similar circumstances. The Darlingtons, Chesters and Maidstones of this world are allowed to fold for smaller amounts than that. I suppose it's one of the benefits of being a bigger club, up to now no club of Bolton's size has ever been allowed to fold
  23. The administrators said on the BWFC website they had received offers from five parties before the deadline So there were 4 other parties interested and put an offer in.
  24. At least Bury's creditors lost 75p in the pound to fund a promotion season. Our creditors lost their money to make Ken richer
