Meanwhile in Israel
Have they? Who else has picked up on this mystery problem? Can you show me where they have ? ๐ It's a strange response from yourself. Israel have been shown to have committed genocide in Gaza... most normal people (Bolty not included) would just condone it and call it out for what it was. Yet here you are rambling on about the mindsets of children in conflicts and making strange comparisons to Ireland, Iraq and Afghanistan. Just like when folk on here were calling it genocide and saying Israel were deliberately targeting civilians, yet you were waffling on about a hot dog shop doing well and that aid was being allowed in. You have consistently deflected from Israel and even defended them at times. Claiming they haven't been doing it deliberately. Now it has been confirmed they acted very deliberately and it is genocide. All you can offer is that 'these things happen in war' and 'whatabout all these other conflicts'. You'd look less daft just accepting you got it wrong about Israel's actions.

Their fans were doing 'oles' after 5 minutes with a bit of possession. Absolute clowns. They don't help themselves. Capable of better.

Meanwhile in Israel
Aye comparing Israel's genocide with the troubles in Northern Ireland ๐คฃ What an embarrassing attempt at Whataboutery. Anything but criticise Israel eh. I'm not sure what you're rambling on about right or wrong answers and teachers. This isn't a pub quiz and nobody asked you to answer a question. We're expressing opinions. You've shared yours for all to see. Made a bit of a tit of yourself with your comparison (which happens to the best of us) and now your getting rattled and arguing with yourself. " But but you're a teacher and you think you're always right" ๐

๐๐ You don't have talk out your arse at times. There's nobody on this forum with less of an understanding of nuance than yourself. Mr Black and White tries telling someone else that they've got tunnel vision ๐

Politics - Part 2
I like Burnham. Think he does want to do things differently, but all this constantly changing leaders is a shit show. And I believe itโs all down to our fickle , massively polarised general public. Mad that folk are still going around calling politicians Traitors in the 21st century. Weโre heading to a dark place if the constant changes of leadership continue across parties. Now more than ever we need stability & compromise. Our economy & the world going to get much worse before it gets better. As a country we need to look at adapting, becoming more self sufficient & mitigation. That takes a level of unity that we just donโt have currently. Maybe in a crisis we might, but folk donโt see it as that yet. How does any party in our country persuade the electorate that they need to be patient & make sacrifices. Not going to happen when folk expect miracles within two year.

And apologies if this triggers the anti-scouser brigade. But delighted for Wee Mo. Huge pressure on him, what a guy.

Just looking through that Cape Verde squad. What an achievement to grind out two draws against Spain and Uruguay. Couple of decent level players but that's about it. Insane. Cape Verde - Detailed squad 2026

Meanwhile In England
And I'm sure it'll be another decade. Steps in the right direction across Europe though. You can see a huge shift taking place. That's happening at the ballot box - both elected parties and EU elections. The left will continue to suffer if it doesn't accept this shift and the issue at play. Whilst a minority have always exploited it, it used to be that the asylum system was mostly people who needed it. Now it is completely out of control. The way the world is heading and the amount of mass migration that will be taking place, countries will have no choice but to adopt much stricter border controls.

illegal immigration and people smuggling is a problem the world over to an extent it is working when you see parties like Reform and Restore gaining support. This puts pressure on others to address it. though it's not something that can be fixed overnight.

Meanwhile In England
See I don't disagree with much in your post. As you know, I've always said we need to be honest if things are down to a specific cultural issue. And to be fair you accept that folk are blaming everything on immigration. But blaming these people's mindsets simply on the issue spiralling out of control just comes across as a deflection. Interestingly more and more people are now defending these acts of violence as a means to an end. Scary stuff. The fella round the corner from me shouted "I'm protecting my country" as he attacked innocent blokes with a machete. Protest about the situation in the channel and grooming gangs by all means. Use the ballot box as well. But when someone resorts to extreme violence then it is nothing more than terrorism. The blame lies with the individual and those encouraging violence. Danny Thomo just the other day saying we need strong British men to defend ourselves because protest isn't working. Part of the problem. To blame the Labour party above all else is just fckn bonkers for me. This guy says it better than I will. Class moment that from Emma Hayes and tribute to her father. Whilst the crosses tactics board didn't work, it's a shame she got so much abuse.

I blame the people doing it first and foremost. I also blame people who spread the hatred and make excuses for it happening. You see it across the political spectrum. Who do you blame ?

Meanwhile In England
Racists in Belfast torching foreigners out of their homes last week Racists in Edinburgh attacking Muslims with a machete this week Often walk down the street in Leith where it happened. Often with the wee one as well. Just glad I wasn't there. Grim times. Somebody will be along to blame the politicians shortly for letting it come to this.

Another reason that the 3rd place rule is nonsense.. Clarke can essentially just play for two draws or narrow losses & they still qualify Anti football at itโs finest & Turkey could beat the US 10-0 and theyโd still be out. Makes no sense

The Tartan Army are a great organisation. The way they travel & raise money for local causes is class. Some brilliant stories coming out of them hiring all the yellow school buses & taking over a red socks baseball game. No better national anthem out there. Shame their manager is so fckn boring. As the players they have are capable of playing with a lot more ambition.

Never in doubt Smashed Reform, Restore & Tories combined Best chance Labour have to avoid implosion & fight Reform at the next election. Good to hear he wants to bring so many broken services back under public control. Hopefully a smooth transition & leadership election & theyve got a chance . Still think itโll be Reform next time around - though Restore are throwing a spanner in the works

we're massive wherever we go. Come on lads. No pressure for me on this one. Too many incredible teams about to expect us to win it. Hopefully that takes the edge off and allows the lads to enjoy it. Then who knows what'll happen
