With TSL in goal we lose that. Rarity this season in that the opposition were generally the better team. Much better after the subs. The 2 new boys look promising. Fair fucks to Cissoko - put a shift in and looked a (bit of a ) threat. Way better than Gale's cameo last week. In the end, a point was a great result given how the game went.

Get Erhahon off before he either gifts them a goal or gets sent off (or both). Highlight so far is probably that we're only 1 down.
  3. I reckon most of us are priority targets for ISIS to be fair.
  4. I'd give him 5 minutes, see if he can run it off.

not easy winning a pointing contest hands down

Pretty much my thoughts, but take issue with the last bit. Never have friends or family who would book a wedding on a Saturday in the footie season. Have a word. (you've still got the rest of the day to do the decent thing and fall out with them)
  7. If they're American, it'll probably be Trump-something these days. I'll guess at "Trump-calm". 15000% price reduction as well.
  8. Found one towards the end of the day at London beer festival a few years back. Cracking drink, but about 13%. I was doing alright up to that point, then quickly lost the ability to form a coherent sentence. Proper wobble tackle.
  9. Was treated to a selection of Belgium beers at friends' house last night. 10.5%, 11.7%, 10% and 12%, then calmed it down with a 7% one. Went home and had a couple of cans of 8% French stout. Slept well 😁
  10. with no sense of irony.

games change on moments. Toal leaves that and it's a comfortable save. We're as likely to make it 4-0 at that stage than them pull one back. Gives them a boost, but keep out heads for the next 10 minutes and we're back on easy street. Instead we go into panic mode and it's 3-2 and nervy as fuck. Fair play for steadying ourselves from that point.

been immense last few games - wins so much up there, must be a nightmare to defend against.

    fuck me, this is fun
  14. think 2 and 3 were the other way round, but must be at least a line on the trump-did-no-wrong bingo card.

  16. after multiple posts about whether or not it met the legal definition of rape. quicker if you'd said from the off "I don't think he did it".
  17. so nowt to do with whether or not it meets the UK legal definition of rape then?
  18. ah, fair point. But on those terms, are we all at least agreed that Trump is more of a rapist than Jimmy Saville is a nonce?
  19. Yeah, no problem. Mick, he's not a convicted rapist. All he did was commit what the judge said is commonly understood as rape. We all happy now?
  20. never said he had pal. if I'd said convicted rapist, your last few posts of pointless argument would have been justified.
  21. Commonly understood as rape but didn't meet the narrow legal definition in the case. Per the judge, who as far as I know isn't on a footy forum or down the pub. I've no idea if it meets the British legal definition, but it's seems pretty irrelevant to me. Are we agreed that he committed what is commonly understood as rape then?
  22. or - in the real world - what the judge said.
  23. so ..... not a rapist, but committed what is commonly understood as rape. but definitely not a rapist. think we're in agreement then.
  24. try reading what you post - "which the judge later clarified..."
  25. not a rapist, but committed what is commonly understood as rape. but definitely not a rapist.
