Reet, here goes from a Wigan perspective ( well mine anyroad ). You were all over the place first 35 or so and looked nervous and we should have been out of sight. But we weren't and second half you improved no end to deservedly equalise. Fair result and not the end of the world as we are still on track and you can finally get the flip-flops out and start planning your hols in Skeggy.

Unfortunately that's an accusation that could be levelled at most towns. If you take Bolton for example and ask the entire population most would probably identify with ANOTHER and not the home town team. The future is the young ones though and whatever you think of Wigan’s following we have one of the youngest bases around. Bolton seem to have an aging support as you would expect from a more established side. At Stoke last week out of over 4100 fans 3000 looked like they were in the 15--25 range. Quite incredible really but not hard to understand when older fans in Wigan do tend to have long standing loyalties to United and Liverpool. Times are changing sometimes as these younger fans do seem prone to stepping out of line occasionally. This is not a criticism of you lot or anyone else but it is a constant challenge to attract younger supporters but at least on this issue one where we appear to be making progress.
