  1. Any one else on here go to the shithole in Salford early to mid 70's Lancashire youth cup final when they had that Frank O Farrell as manager....I was with the Warbies we were right behind him singing "Shit on O Farrell" we won the game and took no prisoners on the way out...happy days !!
  2. Nice little shout when we equalised....must have been a few there besides Simon Marland and Ruth.....few behind the goal celebrate when the ball goes in.....make sure you guys get over to Pietown for the semi......weird day here today, big earthquake this morning, everyone on edge as the after shocks have been rattling all day.....great result against the Scum, now on to a few scoops of Guinness....not for Paddy's Day, it's my best mate (Bolton Lad) Burfday....COYWM
  3. And to think grass that has a regular supply of shite applied on them are usually good
  4. Sorry boys and girls, should have posted earlier...but our Lancashire Cup game is on live right now on. www.wiziwig.com. ...scabby bastards got a pen When it was miles outside the box...even there bias red shite commentators said so
  5. signed up for the lifetime plan in 1961....
  6. So nobody noticed a colour clash....both teams playing in white.........foooooook me I'm getting old
  7. got his autograph at Eddie Hoppy's testimonial....then met him at Heathrow one time.... 1...The King 2...Sir Nat 3...Pele 4...Eusebio 5...Messi
  8. missing the space shuttle landings here at Edwards Air Force Base....the sonic boom scares the shite out of you...even though you know it's coming
  9. it looks brilliant we are getting it over here in Feb....anyone of you chaps watch the David Attenborough Natural history Museum comes Alive ?...that is also on it's way over...I keep watching... än Original DUCKumentary" on the Nature channel...and of coarse Earthflight which was mesmerising ...one of the greatest BBC documentaries ever.....
  10. that winner he scored at The Hawthorns was against Cardiff, it was the second replay of a fourth round F.A. Cup match....how times have changed, no second replays these days...and I can't remember many Cardiff fans in the 6,609 attendance...it set up a home game against Luton with a great crowd of 39,556 which we somehow manage to lose 0-1....that was the game when they came in The Lever End all with painted faces like in a Clockwork Orange...and left looking like a Blood Orange....
  11. Still one of my best mates over here...absolute top bloke, still follows every game we play although he was brought up supporting City, he brings a couple of teams down to the San Diego area to play in a competition where all the colleges recruit their players, so we end up on the razz...he should have been a multi millionaire...as he owns the rights to the name Seattle Storm...when the Woman's NBA started up they used the name, and Stuart fought them in court...these arseholes brought in the biggest lawyers the NBA could buy....and somehow Stuart lost the case....absolute foooookin Bollocks !!....he is still big mates with his team mates of his day, and hangs out with Greavesy, and Gary and Paul Jones when he goes back home, when he first moved here to L.A. he played indoor footy for L.A. Lazers, he always left us free tickets, and if you attended 20 home games you got a free trip to Hawaii...Aloha Stu !!!
  12. a few of our lads over here have met him over the years...he charged big money just to hang out with him, you had to pay for a meal and lots of bevvies for him too....you think Barbara Windsor will be walking behind that glass coach ?
  13. Not seen him lately but he was always in the Kings Head here in Santa Monica, whenever we spoke to him he was always here working on other peoples albums....he was working with Cheap Trick last I heard....very approachable guy Brum fan and still had the long burners although a little grey
  14. Liverpool U21 games are usually on www.wiziwig.com
  15. Just got a new Wartime Wanderers shirt on eBay for only £7.99....nobody else bid on it, they sell for £49 on Toffs website.......SCORE !!
  16. Everything shite around L.A......nothing but Tommy Tourists......my local is 225 miles away south of the border in Ensenada....Hussongs Cantina (the oldest bar in Northern Mexico) Big Bolton Pub when Señor Borgetti made his guest appearances.....
  17. Love it when I'm south of the border as Mexicans just don't eat Lamb, so it is dirt cheap...I always get those small but really thick kinda T.Bone Lamb chops...loads of spices on them and straight on the barby, usually get the butcher to debone a leg of lamb, marinade for a couple of days in minty spices..... another one for the BBQ..
  18. Went on the piss from McGinlay's with a few of our greats and both Flitcroft brothers, if it wasn't for the cop knowing Super John Flickers would have been in the Bobbies van for not coming out of the fountains....good lad
  19. Inglewood is Paradise compared to Watts/Lynwood/Compton/South Central and North Long Beach....broke down in Watts about 25 years ago, within 5 minutes the whole of Nicholson Gardens Ghetto was sat all over my car, had guys nicking my wheels as I tried to find a phone....out of desperation I asked an old black lady if I could call from her house....she came out and threatened all the gang members.....apparently I had found the Grandmother of the gang leader, and she said she had never heard an English accent before, and was well impressed with my knowledge of Motown, took about 3 hours to get a tow truck as all the companies were shit scared of going in that area, so I used the time educating all my new mates about about the joys of football hooliganism in the 70's
  20. Flickers just got the boot at The Tykes.....likeable lad I hope he gets fixed up somewhere soon..
  21. When he signed for Birmingham, I was in The Sandpiper hotel bar in Manchester Frank was with Peter Barnes at the bar, he didn't leave until at least 2.30am Saturday morning, it must have taken him at least one and a half hours to get home and have a little kip, he played and score 2 (think it was against Palace) and ran the whole game...they interviewed Brum's manager (think it was Jim Smith) about Frank's fantastic performance....and he said that Frank had a girlfriend from Hawaii staying with him, and that she was a good influence on him and was keeping him on the straight and narrow......
  22. I would prefer if you left my manhood out of the conversation ....
  23. Frankie not doing too well these days......what a lot of folk tend to forget was not only did his goal send us up....it also relegated the six fingered ones....remember watching Granada Reports the night after he battered the red shite...Bob Greaves was made to sing..."There's only one Franky Worthy" .....brilliant days !!
