The Bridge Inn is where most away fans go apparently. 5 minutes from train station.

It's about self awareness I guess, only people that go in are the people that don't realise they are dickheads. 😂

Seen a few tickets for sale posted on Facebook.

Rotherham have realeased a statement saying that there are very few pubs for away fans, and that the bars in the ground opens at 1.30, but shut at 3 o'clock so no alcohol at half time.
  5. Can't remember 1 I have sat all the way through since then. The Argentina match in 98 I watched the 1st half and went to get a Chinese just after half time. 2002 was good but that was mainly down to the pub opening early and drinking cocktails all day. Last year I played golf instead of watching the England matches.
  6. Not a big England fan, not enjoyed a match since Euro 96 but at the minute I'd say the three that played up top last night are probably the best 3 in international football bar none. Then it falls down with poor central midfielders and defenders.

    Play 3 at the back.
  8. Remember this match from 1991. Super John scoring a hattrick for Bury. They also had David Lee, Phil Parkinson and Tony Cunningham in their team. Think Cunningham joined us the following month and scored two in the first away game I went to at Rotherham, Shaun Goater scored a last minute equaliser that ultimately cost us automatic promotion. Still hate Rotherham to this day.
  9. Plymouth drawing against Oldham cost me 2 grand, fucking hate David Wheater now.
  10. You get more pissed up people at cricket than you do at football but Muslims are happy to go and watch that, or is that because they are a higher class of pissheads at cricket?
  11. Who are JV?
  12. Wonder if he has ever made any money doing it? I can understand buying websites in people/companys names and then try selling them, but if you want to register a business you will try and do it they will say that names taken and you will just change the name slightly and pay the normal fee rather than buy it off the person that registered it.
  13. It's 70p but if you pay for a subscription it works out at 55p a day. Bargain.
  14. Jesus Christ. Why is everyone so obsessed with finding out about the finances and then wildly speculating about what it means? Who is Gary White? What is this money? Who has these shares? Why has a pint of lager gone up? Why does the Bolton News cost 65p? Football Ventures have a plan in place and seem to know what they are doing so give over worrying people.
  15. Has he scored a goal since leaving us?

Is there a younger Flitcroft brother? Probably in his late 30's. Remember playing football against him at primary school, think he went to Eagley. Had the same stupid haircut as Garry at the time.

Have they got any players that need rehoming?

Alistair Campbell's son interested in taking over Bury.

Yep. Right there between 2 and 4.

Looks like he got a Bolton scarf for Christmas and is furious about it. That is when his plan to destroy us was first hatched.

Bassini is awesome. He loses £25 million backing and then the same day he has access to £30 million. FV could learn a lot from him, although I won't believe it till it's in the Jewish Telegraph.

Surely there are a lot better places to buy land though?

Can't see the logic in buying a hotel then liquidating the club. Then you would own a hotel attached to a defunct stadium in a town where you will instantly become hated. Not the best business plan.

Did anyone manage to watch all of Bassini speaking last night? I lasted about 5 minutes. Trouble is is he is so fucking awful at public speaking, if I was David Sullivan he should have got a slick PR guy fronting his bid and people would be lapping it up, instead he has this complete buffoon who speaks absolute nonsence. Even reading letters seemed a bit of a chore for him, which is amazing considering he probably wrote them.
