Politics - Part 2
I think quite a few will shortly be having a similar experience To be fair, Starmer did very much the same thing to the left of the party after his election as leader He was pretty shameless in abandoning election pledge after election pledge after winning the votes of people who supported them, but it did subsequently win him and the party a general election

England cricket
I think it was a typo and he means off the field, so basically that incident It does seem to me that the relationship between Stokes and McCullum isn't as strong as it once was and sometime soon one, probably Stokes, will go

With the increase in the number of teams competing, I don't have a wall or kitchen table big enough I blame Infantino

Politics - Part 2
My point really is that given the fairly wide array of political philosophies in both the main parties, there's always the potential for a new PM to stray quite far from the manifesto the government was elected on and that leaves a bit of a democracy deficit A failing of the parliamentary democracy sytsem It is what it is

Politics - Part 2
We probably should have a general election when the PM changes if the new PM is unwillling to abide by the manifesto of the previous one (and it seems unlikely Burnham intends to) But constitutionally it's not required and it hasn't happened the last few times so there can be no complaints from other parties I also think that privately Reform and the Tories don't currently want one

Politics - Part 2
Any change of PM should've been done by the proper process i.e. hitting the trigger for a leadership challenge and then having a proper but swift leadership election The drip feeding of resignations, as we saw with the Tories and now with the Labour Party, to fundermine tge authority of whoever the PM is and force the personal ambitions of certain MPs is childsih nonsense Personally, I think people might quickly become disillusioned with Burnham the more they're exposed to him but if there's one thing the country desperately needs at the minute, it's a bit of hope and optimism and it's not difficult to see why he appeals to people Best of luck

I don't mean this in any disrespectful sense but I'm surprised you've posted this because it feels like quite a lot of your posts are pretty much exactly that

Meanwhile in Iran
It's fairly common knowledge that the Isrealis are pretty much the world leaders on that kind of thing, especially in that region They're also up there on the development of military technology as well Again, you're resorting to absolutes - I didn't suggest that no other country engages in intelligence and counter intelligence or that the US depends solely on Israel for its national security

A good counter argument I'd still have him batting lower down the order though
