That'll affect the bench terribly.

Tippy Tappy football
Tippy-Tappy was not in evidence in last night's European Cup games. How refreshing is that !?

The Managerial Roundabout
What chance him signing Dion Charles ? Victor will be expecting a call. Billy Crellin's from Blackpool btw.
-
The Managerial Roundabout
He'll have learnt f'call. Like trying to give a bike to a fish.
-
The Managerial Roundabout
Well it might explain his absolute inability to prepare for them, whether we were attacking or defending.

The Managerial Roundabout
Very true. Just struck me as odd that, despite being so close & obviously a disciple & loaning a couple... one very successfully ... that they, by his own record a year or so ago, didn't ever meet up. In truth that's likely to be a Pep thing as Evatt would certainly live to have done.

The Managerial Roundabout
We are, what, 12 miles from Citeh. We borrowed players from Citeh. The two managers never met.

Todays Games
Like Sam's remark when criticed by Spam fans for 'not playing the West Ham way'. wtte if "Well as far as I can see 'the West Ham way' is losing".

Transfer Gossip
Great, great news re. Conway. Even if the big boys fancy him we get a proper fee, but hopefully we grow together. What a talent he is.

Tippy Tappy football
Gawd, I hope that's correct.

Agree re. Slot whinging but, tbf, if Salah hadn't had the worst match of his life they'd have walked it. I'm hoping Salah is on a long downturn. Stretford's MoM was the woodwork.

Todays Games
I think Stig meant Saha, or Salah or someone with an S.

The Managerial Roundabout
😱 is he still on it ? ... & I thought Santos ripped us off last season.
-
Todays Games
I don't really take any notice.

Todays Games
That Stretford v Bin Dippers was like a bunch of kids trying ever so hard but being really quite shite. Stretford were slightly less shite. If a scout turned up he'd think Saha had won a raffle to get a game.

Huddersfield Town (A)
Yes. Players I'd never heard of until we were linked & then became desperately sorry we were outbid by Huddersfield before becoming fatalistic about it.

The Managerial Roundabout
That's why, with no affiliation at all, I like what Brighton, Palace, Bournemouth and Fulham to an extent, have been doing

The Managerial Roundabout
39 days. They sacked a perfectly competent guy to bring him in. Now Sean Dyche is the favourite.

I doubt he was anywhere near his line 😅

A View From The Other Side
Delighted as I am & devouring all the written and video coverage I shows the knife-edge we all walk. We could so easily have drawn, we could possibly more easily have lost. I'd be pissed off, have read as little as possible & hunkered down for another week. I'd not have been calling for SS's head but be wondering when losses became critical.

The Managerial Roundabout
They'd be mad. But he'd take them back years so not all bad.
-
Huddersfield Town (A)
Lovely. I was concerned at half time& seriously worried about us. But the second half was much better, though I had become resigned to a 1-0. Wow.
-
Huddersfield Town (A)
Dion doesn't play, 0-2, Dion plays 0-4.

The Managerial Roundabout
Not even a 1% he'll return. She stuck with him to & beyond the end. She didn't want to lose him but eventually her colleagues made it happen. Once gone she'll have learnt, & accepted, more. The fans haven't kicked back at all. Even the ones who stuck with him ... & they had dwindled, have ever complained. The shambles he left is still holding us back. You'd only need to ask "McAtee, Randall ... close to £2.25m ... what the actual fck ??".

Burton Albion (A)
I remember Butch Wilkins being asked why he didn't 'start management at clubs lower down'. He said he had thought of that but didn't understand what made lower league players tick so wouldn't know how to motivate them.
