  1. The art of wanting what we've actually watched ourselves fail in is interesting.
  2. Tbf Liverpool gave us another full-back & Citeh gave us a winger & iirc a Midfielder. They were not obviously successful.
  3. Raoul Moat is rumoured to have been at the 1976 FA Cup 3-3 match if that helps.
  4. He's not 33 till 12th March. tbh I'd not realised. He's not got that far for this age. Do you rate him ?
  5. He'll see this season out unless it really does go to ratshit. Mind you ... 1. An Evatt-style 0-4 v Wigan & 2. A repeat of the bizarre/insulting substitutions could just achieve it.
  6. Almost without fail a new manager brings his own team of support staff. Some few may not follow him, some few might remain from the old regime, but in general most leave.
  7. Yeah. 🗣 "Nolan Out !!!!".
  8. Looked at Swansea's game. They named a 20 man squad. They played 7 of their 9 substitutes. Santos, as an aside, wasn't one of the 20. He's had a hip issue since mid December.
  9. Coz some acne-ridden track-suited twat says 'there were 3 chances & only one went in' and thinks he's discovered a new element is the equivalent of that.
  10. It's odd how SS has followed-up on an early Evatt weakness. The difference between Cullen & bringing in an experienced but aging & initially unfit Gilks. He maybe fell lucky with Trafford's loan, Baxter offered ability but no heart. I'd take a 33+ years old with experience in a heartbeat.
  11. Xg is a load of facile shite. Dressing up football into numbers is pointless & smacks of too much sports 'science' and coaches tring to justify themselves. There. I've said it.
  12. Whether on loan or sign there are plenty of Premiership or Championship bit part players around. Squad limits mean good players get left out completely. Many would prefer to play, I'm sure.
  13. I agree, yet he's better than this & has more to offer. Which makes it seem to be a requested tactic. As I've said, when SS sees us struggling he all too readily reverts to tippy-tap & all the issues Evatt-ball brought.
  14. The guy's the boss & can do as he chooses ... but doing it to two, uninjured players with two minutes to go speaks volumes. Decent, level headed, ones at that. He made it look personal. If Sheehan asks for a move this week I'd not be surprised. It's a model of 'how to lose the dressing room'. He certainly went down in my estimation with that one move alone.
  15. We shouldn't want him to go. If he has to then, honestly, good luck to him. Obviously I don't want a competitor to benefit but no bad wishes to him.
  16. I don't want Schumacher to go. I want him to realise this is a shambles & fckg sort it out. If he can't do that then, yes, I will want him to go. However, he's now put himself in a position where should be perform at our recent level next week, against Wigan, at Wigan then he'll be in one Hell of a pickle.
  17. Oh behave. Are you 12 ?
  18. Who replaced the previously unchallenged Dennis Peacock.
  19. Well his early subs, for effect, then his half-time team talk seems to have worked wonders. He's just gone from two wingers to none as well. Remarkable.
  20. Bitchy is a good word. Was Sheehan playing particularly poorly (given our general standard) ? He could be off next week.
  21. Very weird. Like SS is showing the World he's doing something.
  22. Don't suggest he could, one day, move into midfield or a ton of shite will fall on you.
  23. Absolutely. He's wrong mind, but he stands or falls by his decisions.
  24. Only TSL of that lot is a loan.
  25. There. Sorted that for you.
